There is a database for Texas, but I couldn’t find him on there. here’s the link for the future.
Hopefully we will learn more if it comes back as a match.
They would first need to locate the said person. Then determine if he/her is missing.
If they go to his house and answers the door, we'll there's that.
But it's Texas. Without a missing person's report, they won't do a thing.

When I found the match, I had submitted it to NamUs to one of the local people in charge of these cases. First time I sent, she told me to link the NamUs link so I did. After that, I emailed her again a few days later but have got no response so far.

I couldn’t find him in MP databases. I wonder if he was in fact a native of Galveston or just got arrested there? I looked up his name and found nothing because it’s a very common last name (actually both of his last names are extremely common) and first name among Hispanic males, so there are tons of AGMs out there.
Not a native

I hope LE takes this suggestion seriously, it seems very very possible! I can't personally access the mugshot links (maybe bc im in Canada?), does he have a height/weight/tats listed?
Maybe I'm just negative but I don't have a lot of trust that the NamUs correspondents are actually fully looking into every tip that comes in and actually passing them along, so I like to send tips to both them and the Investigating Agency with the hope that at least one person will listen. @Caring1 @souljaman2022 , was this boy ever submitted to Houston PD?
I had only submitted it to NamUs and Houston Crimestoppers, they had then forwarded it to Galveston Crimestoppers since it wasn't in their limits.

He does look very similar, but until we know if he's missing or not I'm not too sure. JMO.

The scars and moles in the same place and with the same appearance are what convinces me, because those are random and unique in appearance and placement. The chances of two similar looking people having unique identifying marks is pretty much nil.

And the squareness of the ear lobes, which I believe you mentioned in an earlier post?, this is the first prospect I have seen so far that I genuinely think is a match. JMO

I honestly would be shocked if it wasn't him. MOO

It's just that even the other two men that were arrested with the person some suspect could be this John Doe look like him. It has to be him.

I definitely think he looks very, very similar. I hope Galveston and Houston PDs look into it and find out if he is missing or not so we can get to the bottom of it. JMO.

If he's alive and running around, it's not him. I wonder if the municipal hold had to do with a missed immigration court date or something similar?

Whatever, it was a misdemeanor and probably not actionable since there was no case number and his name does not appear on Galveston court docket following the arrest. This arrest was also during Covid when Courts were letting non-violent offenders off. JMO

I wonder if it affects anything that he was 17 at the time of his arrest? You are a minor until you are 18 in USA correct? If he is here illegally, how would they handle that? Or even if it was a Misdemeanor. Also, would court records be public knowledge after the arrest? I'm not very well versed in USA law.

It depends where they're from and on their circumstances. It's very, very complicated. The US returns 88% of unaccompanied Mexican minors back to Mexico. The same stats are very different regarding those from Central America, who are eligible for asylum. It's complicated already!

Court records for minors, may or may not be public. (Usually they aren't, but I see traffic violations for minors pop up)

His arrest was public and in most cases arrest records aren't. To further complicate matters, I don't believe immigration court cases have the same same transparency as civil and criminal cases.

Law enforcement has access to these records.

Thank you for this! It does sound really complicated!
