Does anyone have any enhancements tools they can use to look at the necklace and see if it fits this description?
As far as the tattoos they may had been fake or removed at a later date.

She was wearing a rectangular-shaped pendant with a smoky blue stone on a gold chain (as seen in the victim's sketch above)

Sophia has a tattoo, so she could not be Walker County Jane Doe.

But Pamela looks spot-on to 95UFTX. Seven years without removing the braces is wierd, but as ikoihil stated above, she may have not had the opportunity to remove them. I'd call it in.

I am debating among myself.
If the tattoo were real, since they were so small.
Or perhaps she had them removed at some point.
though just guessing

Carl there were date differences. I think typo's. I believe it was a 3 year gap. They also had 2 dates on her birthday.

Thanks

Carl, I took another look at Sophia's pictures and if enhanced we can tell for certain but she "appears" to have a 1 1/2" scar near right eyebrow. Could be the photo but it does look like it to me. The tatoos could have been small and unnoticed on the hands. jmo. Can you take another look at this, enhance the face and the necklace?

The light brown hair vs dark doesn't fit and white vs hispanic but maybe someone got it wrong.

Here's the necklace. It looks like solid metal with no dark blue stone inlaid.

Here's her right eyebrow:

There could be a vertical scar there, but I think that is more likely a photographic anomaly.

Also, there is a postmortem photo of WCJD in NamUs.

IMO there are clear differences in facial shape between WCJD and Sophia.

Thanks, Carl. You are right. These aren't the same girl. Thanks for checking on it for us.

Thank-you Carl.
for enlarging the necklace.
I was hoping it would have been identical to the one the girl was wearing.

My other one there is not much to go on.
She would have been 24 25 when this person was found on Sept 13 87.

It is from posting 18 in the unidentified thread. Posted by JeannieC.
They state around 40 but they do have a cross on the left hand.
Sophia had a cross on her right hand. So if that's not a typo then its not her either. Thanks again for your help with the pictures Carl.

Not much to go on description wise.

Has Tara Cossey been considered?

http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/834dfca.html

I think she looks very much like the UID and would have been 14 at the time of the UID's death, which matches up with the date range. She's also caucasian and indian, which could account for the slightly hispanic appearance of the UID.

Thoughts? I've always thought they looked close, but figured someone has looked at Tara before. Can someone post a side-by-side? Thanks :)

She does look very similar in many respects. I don't think WCJD's teeth were that crooked though. Also, given the circumstances of how she disappeared, I can't see her hitchhiking to a prison in Texas. It's possible, but I don't see it.

Just passing thru and saw this case, looked into it a little and found this:

http://www.missingkids.com/missingk...eNum=U9105002&orgPrefix=TXCH&searchLang=en_US

Very interesting and similar, both missing around Halloween, one year apart, same age, size and looks

The Huntsville girl was killed by a right handed man who bit her as she was being strangled from behind using panty hose

The girl would have had to been in the Aransas Pass/Rockport area at some time just to know the names of the towns

Likely would have gotten ride with someone that killed her, hit her from left side with right fist in front seat of car, took her somewhere to abuse her, then dropped her north of town, likely headed north towards Dallas

Doubt the killer was Lucas

Sounds like you're familiar with the area and the murders around that time. The girls are similar in many ways. Have you been to the Texas killing Field and I -45 forum? Its a subforum of the Serial Killers forum. You might be very helpful there and find it interesting. It is always good to have a new set of eyes and other people's thoughts.

If you have time check it out. It has the murder victims, missing, and Unidentified victims as well as the known killers and suspects. A lot of information.

I received an e-mail this morning from a Journalist from KRIS-TV/KZTV Action 10 News in Corpus Christi. She had seen the flyer that I had created with my e-mail address on it, and she wanted to talk with me regarding this case.

They intend to run a TV news segment on this case to be shown in the Corpus Christi area.

I spoke with her on the telephone, and I told her about the efforts that we had made on this thread to try to identify this Jane Doe. I also e-mailed back to her copies of my images, as well as the three postmortem photos.

It will be interesting to see what they come up with on their news segment, and if it leads to anything.

Carl, this is wonderful news! I wish more stations would do the same thing! Hope it brings positive results!

I am having a hard time not seeing this UID as distinctly asian. I would even go so far as to say Korean descent.

No matter how I try I can't reconcile the original postmortem photo with the image on NAMUS.

Is anyone else having the same reaction?

I see it too. Not so much from the sketches but definitely in the post mortem pictures.
