Mind your manners. If you take issue with what any member posts, rather than being rude or confrontational, just Report the post and let WS staff review it. If you cannot post with utmost respect, just don't post.

from the photos in the news looks like they did some pretty thorough searches at those homes. Will take some time to go through everything.

But those arrested are only linked to ownership of the lorry itself, not the container. Global Trailer Rentals who leased out the container will surely have told police who rented it? This hasn’t been disclosed.

I've no idea why.

So

Interesting - why does a hairdresser have a lorry registered to her in Bulgaria (after selling it a year previously allegedly) and yet not be the registered director of her own hairdressing business. Just curious prob a moot point and irrelevant. I didn’t actually sleuth it either, it was on Twitter :)

For those of you guys who are in the UK, what time is that in the UK versus Vietnam? When would that have been? To put it in the timeline.
Vietnam is 6 hours ahead

  • Up to 12 police have raided the Warrington home and hair salon of Joanna Maher, 38, and husband Thomas,38

There's now quite a lot of police activity there at their house, we've seen it 20 minutes ago.

I don't think we'll find out the name of the hirer of the container, that's hot evidence in a potential trial. Don't forget, police still haven't named a single person yet and won't do until a charge is brought forward.

A 4th person has been arrested in connection with the deaths of 39 people whose bodies were found in a truck container, Essex Police say. The 48-year-old man from Northern Ireland is suspected of trafficking offences and manslaughter.

Essex Deputy Chief Constable Pippa Mills says she will not comment on speculation about the nationalities of the dead in the lorry. Their nationalities are a "developing picture"

Fourth arrest at Stansted Airport - 48-year-old man held on suspicion of manslaughter and people trafficking. DCC Mills appeals to people living illegally in the UK who have information to help the police - gives guarantee they will not face police action for helping.

Like any illegal immigrant who could have knowledge of these people or the traffickers in this country will come forward given our current hostile environment... Anonymous info is pretty pointless in this scenario ...
