Maybe she lost her driver's license because of drunk driving and didn't tell her parents and her friends, therefore she didn't need her car back from repair?
LE would know, but had no reason to release this info to the public?

Car broke down sometime in February.
She would not drive her father’s probably more expensive car without a licence .

Oh I simply got that from a video clip showing on webslueths that’s all .
I have to ask if these people were on the bus did they get off the bus at or close to cL house ?
They had to get on \ off some distance away

I would be interesting to hear what you have been able to see PJ.

I would suggest though that you take some time to study the bus cam in detail from the very second it starts to it it ends.

when looking at cctv you might find it useful to do it at night time in a darkened room, slow the footage down to its slowest speed and increase the quality to the highest setting.
start at the begining taking small sections of the cctv prob only 5 seconds at a time stopping it and replaying for as long as it takes for you to be comfortable you have reasonable detail of what you can see before moving on to the next 5 second clip after when moving on from clip to clip always play the cctv right from the start that way you get a continum of what you have managed to now see in more detail and possible spots you want to screen shot so you can go back and enlarge/enhance to see more clearly.

I have an interest in cctv footage which I feel will give us clues to just what was going on around Claudia at the time of her disappearance.
This one for instance... Its has not been enhanced but just taken straight from NYP website link to You Tube its the bus cam video so you can click on the link but dont start the video.
You will see that the image capture was at 21.01.29
Hers a still of that shot. Im looking at the figure in the bottom right of the shot.
You may notice other things that may be of interest in the shot too

I wouldn't have seen anything other than a blur until you mentioned it. I now see a person in what looks like a Fireman's helmet with breathing apparatus! I doubt this is the case. If this is a person, why would they be so close to the window of the bus? It appears to be travelling at 23 mph so I doubt they were crossing the road. Could it be a reflection on the window and the person was on the bus? I have no idea how bus cctv works. I googled it and it seems that buses can have up to 17 cameras including 2 at the rear.
Now, please don't judge me as my visual perception skill are pretty low, when I enlarge the photo it appears to be to be a van with diagonal stripes and something that is in the shape of a dog on the roof! Told you my visual perception was low.

personally I think he was driving the vehicle as you follow the video he can be seen in the same position as the vehicle traves heworth road but due to the street lighting and other factors need more concentration to see.

re the other things you see I can only suggest if you can get to grips with using a video or photo editing programme things like that may not actually feature in the footage.

Do you think Claudia's disappearance happened on the 18th or 19th?
Do you think it was a person/persons known or unknown to Claudia that was responsible for her disappearance

I think the 19th. I also think she left for work as usual. The police seem certain that she left for work that morning - so I am hoping that they have some evidence (CCTV) to support this (than just that her work stuff is missing).

Persons known - I don't think its anyone in the NH crew, or someone that has been arrested and released. Perhaps a work colleague or as PJ has suggested, the mystery boyfriend.

I never said she was on minimum wage.

We don’t know her parents helped her to buy.

I have plenty of money and I chose not to run a car at all. Having money does not equate to having a new model car. The car wasn’t all that old in any event, not at the time.

a. In a different car
b. From a different location
c. On foot but she disappeared very quickly thereafter

Where is the nearest cctv point to her house on her normal route? Melrosegate?

I see. We only have the CCTV of claudia returning home from work on the wednesday? I cannot believe that there are no other CCTV recordings in evidence that show claudia.
