Its important to have an interest in looking at cctv in detail Ive mentioned before that it is painstaking but can be rewarding.. Im no expert but pm me if you find you are having difficulty with it

Interesting. I’m not having difficulty with it. I’d just never looked that loosely at the balloon release footage. But why would the woman be at the balloon release footage if she was involved in witness protection for Claudia?

I beg to differ..
Were parts of her life shrouded in mystery and secrecy because she she had a role within the NCA?
As this organisations operations are carried out with highest degree of secrecy any involvement a person would have had in it would not be made public.

I think its worthwhile checking out the NCA website,the type of people who work for them and invaluable work they do.

Exactly. It wouldn't have been made public but I can assure you that the NCA would NOT have allowed NYP to put her picture all over crimewatcg. Senior officers would have been made aware of her role in the NCA at that point.

With respect you refer to a 'witness' protection.. I have said before and and want to be clear that in my opinion Claudia was being protected this was not a 'witness' protection programme!

If Claudia did have some role within the NCA and her disappearance was related the to that role round then officers would as a matter of course consider the vulnerability/safety of those people closest to her ie family/friends a matter for concern and protection also.
Often occassions like the balloon release are used to security forces advantage as a film cameraman can also scan the crowd for familar faces or people acting suspiciously.
In my opinion in that video Jen King looks petrified.

I can respect the theory re NCA, but I wouldn't understand, why CL had been chosen for this job. What exactly did Claudia qualify for? I can only think of why she certainly IMO wasn't qualified for it at all.

My cousin works for the NCA in quite a senior role - I’ll ask her opinion but I think you’re barking up the wrong tree personally.

Personally I think she was either involved in (or had maybe found out about) a lot of nefarious activity around the nags head. I think friend/s were heavily involved in it. I think maybe she got in over her head then gobbed off. I think she was removed from the equation.

It’s widely believed that she moved to heworth as she had to leave the previous area due to her married men activity. This has largely been confirmed.

It’s been talked about that she’d upset somebody (gobbed off?) and was avoiding the NH that week

Heworth was a lot closer to her new job ie the Uni
It takes half an hour one way from Molton to Uni

Have you tried to find out which garage the car was in?
Ive been trying to chip away at this for almost 7 months all you will get is it was at a garage in Layerthorpe and thats it!!
Whats the problem is saying which garage it was?
could the reason be that the car was not in a garage for repair at all but had been taken off the road for another reason

Re the repair of CL's car. I've searched hard for an old post by @Major Lang's about which garage he thought had potential and with luck today his updated blog has been posted by @Yozzer! I've attached the 2008 google maps detail as the garage is in the right area (end of Redeness St, Layerthorpe) but there's still no evidence that it's the right one. If I had to judge I'd say it wasn't a smart enough place but it's close to addresses previously associated with people she was close to.

I for one will stop posting right away if the police or family ask me to do so !
Now since they have not come here saying so, I assume they are happy for the public to talk about this beautiful woman .
But surly in that case someone with authority ( police / family ) can answer some of our innocuous questions like for example, which garage was repairing her car ?

Yes without hesitation ! As long as I am certain the request is coming from them.
It has taken far too much time off my life as it is !
