The thing that bugs me is - why stay in the area? Also, Surely you'd keep a low profile and keep your face out of the papers.

The police are privy to more information than I am so they must have their reasons for calling them 'rouges' maybe its tactical.

The work colleague still bugs me, I got weird vibes from him during a televised interview. He may just be an odd ball but his change of route to work was suspicious. Seeing pictures of claudias sink didn't strike me as morning dishes. Who eats ceral with a fork? Also no coffee/ tea cup mentioned ( which most not all have in the AM) I also noticed the wine glass- didn't claudia drink cider.

Ive seen a reference to him previously living in York but it offered no details of his employment then. It would def be interesting if he did run the Melrosegate PO

Perhaps you’re right this is a story within a story within a story and if you are right the top commander would be aware of it so would be bank mangers possibly family and police handler ( not necessarily boyfriend )
Question: Could the person that harmed her got an inkling of what was going on but mistook it for infidelity/ cheating ?
if what you suspect is true ,we also understand that life operations have to carry on .I hope and pray some clever policeman in cold case can find a way of getting the killer without having to reveal the whole story for the sake of her family and hundreds others around the Uni .

Your presming she was killed PJ... Im not:)

Oh I hope and pray you are right and she still lives .

Possibly but good bona fide witnesses ( say from the pub) might not have been aware of this .

Have you got a link to the text information you have.

Mcat or cat as often referred to was flooding the streets at that time. It was seen as a cheap alternative to coke .

I understand some internet blogs give details of the text message exchange Claudia with her friend Steve Sammons who lived in Cyprus.

re Cat .. a previous post by @Vixey revealed Claudia was called cat by some..

You may also be interested in this video footage where SC is remembering Claudia and pet names they had for each namely.. namely sister sledge, on times they used sister or sledge Suzy recalls when she called CL sledge CL would reply that she was not a sledge.

The sink - it’s not the specifics of what’s in it that’s interesting - it’s the fact that there is things in it. - so let’s say she left for work in the morning - that means she leaves dishes in the sink and is not as meticulous as you may think, it also indicates that what’s in the sink could be an accumulation. If she disappeared in the evening around bedtime - the same thinking applies . I think the sink is shown by the police because they know the perp could be identified from what’s there.

In that video clip the presenter says “delicate to say the least..”
I wonder what Galloway told her while the camera was not rolling ?
perhaps after 12 years about time they spelt it out ?
It has to be true of course and as long as they have unticked boxes in that revaluation.
If all boxes are ticked then leave well alone bless her .

I find in fairness, one thing missing in the above and my conscience won’t allow me to leave it
Claudia was often called Claude the Cat after the cartoon character but close friends called her simply ‘cat’

There was a chap that came up
In my research that ran a post office funnily enough - weirdly the day I checked him out he changed his
Profile pic oddly. Like there was something in the pic he was trying to hide - I don’t suppose you have a pick
Of this man or the woman he killed “allegedly”

Okay I’m sure someone will help me out and post the link.
The person and I think it was SC who said her family called her Claude and not Claudia then her friends called her Claude the Cat then later still “we dropped Claude and simply called her cat “
I think @Yozzer can probably help me out with this .

Sorry I’m sure I put in the letters IMO
No I’m not sure but the girls know her very well IMO and she has done it before I believe. They were meant to meet at about 9 pm .And I believe they respected each other’s privacy and I’m guessing one would say let’s give her another ten minutes and before you know it and if you’re drinking and talking to others, it would soon be 10 pm well ...
I'm wondering whether the events of the previous friday put SC on the back foot (so to speak). Perhaps one or both spoke out of turn to the other and SC thought that CL was giving her the cold shoulder?
