Also the foot print on the scales , were two people in that compacted space so one had to stand on the scales .

The bleach products found in the bathroom are not a red herring in my opinion- I think the brown hair dye was but not the bleach. Any women knows bleaching hair is a risky job if done DIY ......its easy to end up with orangey blonde hair .......hhhhhmmm now where have I seen someone with that hair colour before ???
yes and i think certain people tease the police with tit bits that fit the "evidence" nod nod wink wink!! in social media and white astra van estates etc

Off at a slight tangent but I’d been wondering about Claudia’s working career in York and suddenly found this 2009 article in which CL’s manager at the Monkbar Hotel in York confirms that Claudia actually worked there for seven years until leaving in July 2006.

‘You could always depend on Claudia’

This information is helpful when reading the Mail article below, which includes an interview with a close male (pre-Heworth) friend who claimed in 2009 to have known her for over 8 years, and estimated the number of her relationships with men as 30-40. He said it was important the public should be given a complete picture of her character, no matter how uncomfortable it may be, and added that she went for married men. There are clear references to his being at work with her so based on the length of their friendship it seems feasible that he probably worked with her at the Monkbar

Revealed: Missing chef Claudia's '40 different men' | Daily Mail Online

These claims were strenuously denied by Suzy Cooper two days later in the same paper in the article linked below.

I don’t believe CL moved (home) to York until 2004 when she broke up with her Malton boyfriend so did she commute from Malton for several years? After leaving the Monkbar I believe CL worked at the Comfort Inn at 53 Piccadilly, York for about a year before, of course, starting at York University in 2007.

Can you explain why these "claims" were denied by Suzy Cooper ?

Perhaps other friends outside her "inner circle" were completely innocent. It would take a lot of evidence for the Police to put the case to the CPS. Because the CPS decided not to charge the 4 men and the police do not seem to be actively looking for anyone else leads me to believe that the Police are still waiting on someone to crack. All MOO
Something to try is to write a list of all of the people you know of in this case, then off them just jot down anything that does not make sense to you. a picture will begin to emerge - it might surprise you.

And if it was in darkness with curtains closed, which it most probably was, they would have assumed she was a) in bed or b) out with a male friend. I believe her curtains were frequently closed, night and day.
It remains to be seen whether anyone in her circle already knew that she wouldn't attend the NH on Thurs evening.
George had done a bunk? or did he do that the following day? Did Jen go away the following week or was she already away to?

I agree Vixey in my opinion there were no arrangements made to meet up on the Thurs or SC even being there.
Was Claudia actually at the NH on the Weds night!!

interesting idea that Claudia could in fact of been at the nags on the 18th. if that was the case - how do you explain the missing rucksack?

SC did not know her for very long and perhaps wanting to move on and not wise to reveal too much detail to the person who often drank with your father of good standing.
I think a lot of the secrecy stands because her mother wanted and became a mayor plus Peter Being a solicitor.

why clean up if she was in the nags - do you think they'd gone back to claudias and then something happened? If something happened at home why remove the rucksack? How does the alleyman in the morning fit in with this scenario?

Yes well it’s come to my attention that it wasn’t the case. I will say no more and leave it up to the person that brought it to My attention to reveal. It’s a funny old game .

Yes I dont think it can be completely ruled out. Maybe claudia wasn't seen in the public area of the pub doesnt mean that she wasn't in private quarters. Lets not forgot the famous alley leads to the back of the nags. You can get to the carpark via the drive at the side of the nags too. Two possible ways of getting to the back of the nags without having to actually walk through the bar area.

Here's a piece - the rucksack, the hair straighteners & chef whites. She needs the chef whites at work. She needs her straighteners to do her hair first thing in the morning before work. we know that if she had gone to work on the 19th she would of returned home around 3pm had a kip and then got ready to go see Suzy for a night on the razz - she would of used her straighteners then so why take them to work? yes there's the old story of hot kitchen and hair nets but I just cant see her being that vain that she would spend time at work doing her hair to walk home.
There's no doubt in my mind that these missing items indicate that she left home on the evening of the 19th probably just after 9pm.

I cannot see multiple persons entering her house in a clean up operation not taking jewellery, valuables etc

the bed was made because she never slept in it, her hair was coloured because she was going out, she took her rucksack because she knew it was an all-nighter and she wouldnt have time to return home and therefore the straighteners because it would probably look like her hair would have been pulled in all directions. Claudia lawrance left her house happy with someone on the evening of the 18th March 2009
