Has there been any discussion on here or information in the media about who that person was at 5am-ish on the 19th March walking past the Post box . The footage was shown on here

The lad walking the opposite way looked like the chap that was in a Co-op; who the Police wanted to talk to

Surely the lady or ladies at the Post box have been identified if they weren't Claudia

Cold Case confirmed to me that Claudia was not seen on any cctv on Thurs 19th

That's great information @keep-it-real As if she had not been seen on CCTV that morning then it is unlikely that she left by the front door as equally our team have confirmation of the CCTV in the premises opposite.

And so to reduce speculation we have:

Not left by front door on 19th
Left by the back door on her own accord to venture further afield at any time after 15:10 on afternoon of 18th.
Left by the back door against her wishes or unconscious / dead.

Would it be useful for someone to put up the 2 pieces of footage together in the same post of the :

A) Melrosegate post box scene on the afternoon of the 18th with possibly Claudia? posting something

B) Melrosegate post box area on the early morning of the 19th with someone looking like Claudia walking the opposite way towards the chap coming from a different direction

Ok I am referring to Claudia posting something , police say it was her and probably all her friends too there is no reason it’s not her .

It was the first team headed by Galloway who thought she set off for work but the second team headed by Malyn who had far more sense IMO @MEKON and searched the alley for the first time-Incredible.
Galloway should have been retired out far earlier than he was. He was either incompetent IMO or just turning the other way.

Any SIO who doesn't preserve a potential crime scene has to be called to question again IMO.

Perhaps he was mislead and let down by people he thought he should be able to trust

The new detective hinted at that angle too

I notice that she has a dark blue / black clutch handbag thrown diagonally over her clothes in that shot @Vixey. I wonder if any of Claudias friends on here would be able to verify if:

A. This is Claudia
B. She had a bag like that

And

Was this the bag that was found on her bed when police searched her house.

SC would know.

Yes her friends would know and they would have been asked to confirm

Im not sure about that wasnt he was Head of Intelligence at the time.. Perhaps he knew that she wasnt at home in Heworth road when she went missing

Is anyone aware of a comment regarding Claudia in her younger days walking in on something that a girl of her age should never have seen?

I found this comment strange and wondered if it was relevant to any particular rift or part of this case?

I remember reading that, think it was RB, but dont think relevant to Claudias disappearance

I think there was possibly something on the cctv that could have been used in court.. If you listen to the Getty Images Video of the suited men and the videotographer outside the houses in Heworth Plce it may offer a clue.

I'm not 100% sure, but it was certainly posted on here. It was definitely from near the Melrosegate post box at 5am-ish with a lady walking on the same side as the post office and it being to her right. The chap was walking from the opposite direction on the same side towards the lady with the post office to his left
