I was looking at this cctv again yesterday. There’s someone outside of her front door ...

Sorry; but am I missing something. I hope it has not been discussed before; but there certainly seems to be 2 people inside the car (Left -Male and Right- Female)

NGL, I’m a bit sceptical about identifying figures in the cctv, but there does appear to be something obscuring the lower part of the left side door frame in this image, which doesn’t appear to be part of the pickup or the wall (too low).

Second car also visible at the top - if that’s the front my first instinct is original model Ford Ka. Not sure what if it’s the back end, though appears similar to the rear light shape in the car visible in the 5.07am Limes Court CCTV.

Hmm. If anything I would have gone with female on the left - long straight hair tucked inside the collar of coat with white fur trimmed hood and male on the right wearing what could be a bulky light coloured or hi-viz type jacket (with a rectangular panel/logo on the rear?) and turned in his seat to face the left-hand passenger.

I believe the item you have circled in left is part of the front wall outside number 48.
I would agree it appears a brunette is in the back seat looking over her right shoulder. As I mentioned previously the CCTV has been cropped strategically to only really include the SUV. We can’t really make out the mystery car or person in front of the SUV.
I also wondered about a Ford Ka. There is a red street Ka parked on HP, whilst the shape looks plausible the rear reg plate is on the rear bumper and seems too low

It would be interesting to see what you can come up with. A couple of other things i picked up on. The bus footage shows what appears to be a light /lamp on claudias lower window sill. After checking pictures of her house internally I can only see a white vase which is central in the window. What could make this light if not a lamp?

Also the Ford Ranger does not have the chrome roll bar above the rear cab. The image on google street view shows a model with chrome roll bar and tinted windows. The Wednesday evening vehicle doesn’t. It was reported there were two regulars who drove similar models, did the right person come forward to speak to the police?

Hi Shadwell; I'm sure we're meaning the same thing. When I am talking; I'm stating the positions via looking at the front of the vehicle. So below I'm meaning the lady is in the passenger seat and the Male is in the driver's seat. I thought the attachments 2,4,6,7 and 8 in Vixey's posting earlier; gave the best view

As I have followed the case for nearly two years, I do not know the reason for the Suv ruled out. I have read that after Galloway appeal for the owner, the day the person came forward it was ruled out by the evening time. How did they know that no one left the vehicle in the time it was parked up outside Claudias! To me it looks like more than one person inside and due to the timing and the sudden stop of Claudia using her mobile, It just seems very odd imo. Just be clear folks, it is a right hand drive vehicle and it is parked pointing in the direction the bus is travelling. The pictures are looking into the bed of the SUV

the vehicle is also a double cab which means it is a 4 door model. You are looking through the rear ( non tinted) screen

Just to confuse matters, I see the brunette looking over her right shoulder towards the bus whilst holding the headrest of the driver’s seat with her right hand. I can’t make out much of the person to her left

Ah right. I see what you mean - though it all feels a bit “Rorschach ink blot” territory to me - one minute I see one thing, zoom in or adjust the levels and it’s something else.

Just to confuse everyone even more: which window would Rodney Ballard’ s witness be looking out from ... his field of vision ( perhaps it was the old man ? Which house did he live in ? )
I am referring to that famous or infamous drawing of the strangulation ?
Did anyone witness this scene? Could it have happened around the time this was going on and not in the morning ?
I don’t believe in psychics btw .

When I first saw that drawing I dismissed it because it was unlikely that CL was driving a car and it showed her in what I assumed was the drivers seat.
Could it actually have been that she was sitting behind the driver’s seat in the back of the Ford Ranger?

I can see why you would suggest that, I think the white part is the chrome of the rear bumper/bar reflecting.

Please see the attached advert of a similar vehicle. Note this also doesn’t have the chrome roll bar unlike the google SV vehicle. Was it confirmed it was that owner who came forward? Definitely different Ford Rangers if that is the case. Where’s Major Lang when you need him?
