I believe Peter Lawrence used to go early and leave early !
Could these friends were of foreign appearances? Perhaps Cubans ? And is this what made the police go to interview Cubans who lived in Alderly edge Manchester in the very first 7 /10 days of the investigation?
The police did not divulge the fact they were Cubans but The Sun newspaper ( on line )said so to the astonishment of the police !

How did they get hold of his name.Was he a chef? xx

You are most likely correct pope, in regards to PL going early. Would he usually drive from slingsby to the nags, on the 2/3 nights or early evening visits a week. But I am pretty sure PL had not seen Claudia or visited the nags 2/3 weeks prior Claudias disappearance x

I think you are right Vixey because Pl had spent some time in the South of France with his sister sometime prior to her disappearance and I guess ( he said so in fact ) he lent her his car a couple of times !

Yes I believe so hence the large sum of money mentioned in his will and his generous gift of 10,000 pounds to missing people bless him RIP
And yes the only one ( from a group of about 12 ) that was mentioned by name was a chef !
But the police interviewed most of the Alderly edge group but no one else was mentioned !
Obviously Claudia must have mentioned this group to her friends or even this group could have volunteered this info in order to help their friend Claudia !

Had PL more than one will? As it all went to Alexandria, bar the 10,000. Sad as he must have known back then,that Claudia was sadly deceased

I’m surprised no Cuban holiday photos ever emerged so far anyway !
You would think these 12 would have taken pictures with this beautiful woman !
There is more to this ( imo )than meets the eye . But again the police know ALL this but perhaps not allowed to speak of it !
I’m positive the police have all the pieces to the jigsaw but this jigsaw fits into yet even bigger jigsaw.

Suzy Cooper told me she did not recognise them, and never asked who they were. She also did not see Peter Lawrence in the nags pub that evening. I asked as he would typically go in on a Friday evening x

O so surely as a “sister” you know Jen and Claudia - perhaps not the others - you go over and join in? I know in an interview Suzy says “I wish I’d spent more time with Claudia on the 13th” given it was going to be the last time she saw her. Which implies she did talk to her - regardless of who she was with - so why didn’t she spend more time there? She had come back from a few days away to meet up with her friends at the pub ?

hey all, first time posting on this thread, though I have recently read through all the posts from the very first on thread one, which has made for some interesting and frustrating reading at times!! Some of the information posted has been amazing and I have felt that some of you have come very close to the truth at times.

My thoughts on what happened to Claudia haven't really changed much over the years, though my thoughts on who was responsible have. Just my own opinion, but I do believe Claudia came to harm at the hands of someone she knew well, and that others around Claudia have knowledge of what happened. If not full knowledge, at least an idea of what happened to her.

Some might have suspicions only (and I wonder if those have been put forward to the police) but some I reckon would know for sure.
