Claudia without doubt was popular and had many friends (imo) I’ve been trying to look at her disappearance /suspected murder from other angles. So a childhood sweetheart, a long time lover, even a long term boyfriend. I think if I was in any of these shoes I’d be looking for revenge - I’d be aggrieved, angry. I get the feeling that many know what happened but no one seems to be able to speak out. It’s been remarked in the press about a rouges gallery of boyfriends - well they either don’t know, don’t care or are too scared as there’s a bigger horse in the room! (In my opinion)
I agree about the bigger horse in the room, but I don't think we've got any evidence that Claudia dumped anyone...apart from a. devoted puppy type ...I know worms can turn but there's far more evidence indicating. other things...besides I think it would have to. be someone with money and or good connections in H worth or an outside group ...again, anything is possible, but the only scenario I think could be connected with this idea would be if shed rejected someone powerful outside the hew worth group...maybe someone from outside. who did business with them and or happened to be in the nags..if that was the case and the Hew worth group had an idea who it was, they must have been afraid of this person...maybe he had something over them

Lots of good thinking happening here.
I like to think there is a simple answer to this, but IMO, this was not a stranger killing.
IMO, even if they do find Claudia, I do not think it will lead to who killed her. I do hope she is found though, no-one should be 'lost' forever.

The person that harmed her must believe ( imo ) he left DNA with her otherwise he would ( I certainly would ) reveal the location and more or less bring this case to a close !
And because this has not happened, I’m assuming , this person has been questioned .

Have we ever considered the possibility that Claudia was killed in self defence ?
An altercation and maybe ( imo )Claudia produced a chefs knife ?!
After so many years it is more important to find her than finding the killer !
This is all in my opinion okay ?

well, I think for a start, in my opinion etc we've had a lot more reports of her having flings...not at all serious...and her big mouth there could get her into trouble...also most of us think that there was more than one person involved, as well as. careful planning and that most of the hew worth crew have at least a good inkling. of what went on, so unless this was a powerful person who. felt insulted by rejection...which ive allowed for...the hew worth gang would try to. get justice for Claudia.-..probably pope John would say they're doing their best...but I don't believe that and we know the police think they know more.

one reason Claudia was so popular with men is that, apart from one interludes, imo appears to have seemed very carefree which often attracts men who are fed up with mundane, worrying issues that come with marriage or a settled relationship...we all need hobbies...

I haven't ruled out the possibility of self defence...but id say. its less likely than murder...the problem with the killer is that, if we could find them, we might save other lives....but I think effort is being. put into both and everyone knows that if we could find Claudia, we might. find out more about the killer...but, I fear unless someone says something, we won't find either

Oh I think the person responsible has likely been questioned, but I personally feel that someone capable of murder, who has then got away with it for so long, is very unlikely to rock the boat by anonymously tipping police off about where she is. I think they would just stay quiet and count themselves lucky.
I do however wonder if her remains are even revoverable, or if they were disposed of in some way that they can never be found

“also most of us think that there was more than one person involved” nothing new there then, the team think at least four were involved.

The fact that her body + rucksack were never found, means that the murder was carefully planned and executed.

In my opinion a planned event would cover off disposal. Id like to know of the four - who was present on friday 13th March 2009 in the nags head - we know Claudia was there, Suzy cooper arrived there around 9 and said she was sozzled (Claudia) and we also know Jen king was there as it’s reported by Suzy cooper and also Jen King herself

Likely but not fact. She could have got into someone’s car, a fight may have broken out - she could have been strangled - the killer then has her and her phone bag etc - think for someone who can Cooley turn off her phone - could easily come up with a disposal method which could never be uncovered.

Questioned!! He was likely arrested. It’s incredibly difficult to kill someone without leaving dna

What if the police don’t have that matches the dna that could possibly be with Claudia ?

and of course we can trust them implicitly....

no, it's not fact...but, as you say, it is likely

I'm looking to pick up this thread properly......there's a lot to read!

FWIW, if Claudia had relationships with married men, then the most likely motive IMO is that she was going to expose it to his wife, with the financial/emotional (children) consequences of divorce for him, hence he silenced her.

It may not have been planned, possibly rage, but likely in a place other than her home.

I would say that this is the most likely scenario/motive but I look forward to exploring the additional evidence/theories.

She had many married lovers AFAI remember correctly.

Why would she, out of the blue, decide to expose one of them?

Who knows? Maybe they had an argument and she threatened to tell his wife.....that would be more than enough for some men with a lot to lose.

With many married lovers, there was a greater possibility that one would react violently, possibly with drink involved too.

Human nature is such that people will commit the most horrific acts when money is involved....either loss or gain.
