We here do not have a right to know / be told all!
As long as they told all they know to the police that is what matters!
And remember Claus was a very private person as I understand things !
Probably keen not to shame her family solicitor father !

No be we are entitled to talk about what we think about what is being said. No need to keep talking to the press about her if people don't want to be honest or are worried about revealing secrets.

And there lies the problem, police don't think people are being honest Det Supt Dai Malyn said: “It remains the case that we strongly suspect key and vital information is being withheld that could provide the breakthrough that we all want to see, not least Claudia‘s heartbroken family."

All I can say personally is if a friend of mine was missing, I'd be less worried about shaming her family and more concerned with telling the truth but thats just moo

I don't suppose it really matters what we think anyway, its up to the police to work out who is being truthful, and they know who they doubt. Im happy to give examples of where my doubts lie, as I've done in previous comments, and if ever the day comes where this is all resolved and I'm proven to be wrong I'll also be happy to admit so.

Until that day I think looking at any possibility that could help find out what happened to Claudia is better than keeping quiet incase someone we don't know is or isn't telling the truth.

I think you're right with the second comment...I don't think everyone is telling the truth as they know it, but some are...its just working out who.
its just very complicated...did. she have. a new boyfriend in a comb ....if she did maybe he and she were the only ones who knew. about it...bearing in mind it could have been. a married and older man...her life had got. so complicated I wouldn't be surprised if shed decided to. up sticks

I'm not asked to reply, but I have an idea: If CL had a new boyfriend at Acomb, it didn't hinder her, to have also an old (but still up to date) boyfriend in the Nag's area ....... Who knows.

It seems to me the police want people to confirm and go along with what they are thinking !
I think they have been blinkered all this time !
And as regards to her friends they will say a lot without giving anything away and they do this for Claudia in order to keep her in peoples minds !

I know what you mean because I've also read varying accounts of when her holiday was. For a long time I thought she was away the sat/sun of Cheltenham weekend - <modsnip> I was looking for it to try and verify which account was correct. After so long articles get removed and its frustrating knowing you've read them but no longer finding them.

And this could have been part of the problem ie contents of the vehicles and other possible law breaking .
At one time I believe they had over 100 police working on this case .And I would imagine many specialised in different fields like contraband / ILLIGAl immigration , stolen goods ,drugs , prostitution etc
Hard not to ask questions about the field you specialise in !
And people start coming up with ‘no comment’?
I mean you know you had absolutely nothing to do with her disappearance, are you going to divulge you had ( for example) an ILLIGAl immigrant in your van,cigs, booze , drugs the list is endless!

I see the potential problem more as being that...eg suzy Cooper may have recognised the. group in the nags as being involved in these activities....im not saying she did, this is just an example...but being. afraid to name them because of what they might do to you

well, my inverted mod post...I was under the impression that one of Claudias work colleagues had said that shed said she was going out with a new boyfriend around the time she disappeared..he only remembered this a year after. the event...I can only find it on. someones. social media page now, so I guess. well. have to forget. about it
