Well it's a definite no from me.
I’m open minded, I can see the likeness. If it is PR you can understand why he wishes not to be seen. JK is reported to be working at the nags on the evening of Wednesday 18th 2009 in msm. JK I believe had a soft spot for PR - perhaps confiding in CL about “boyfriend troubles” imagine the horror to find out the unthinkable. … put yourself in JKs shoes how would you feel? I’m not suggesting this is the motive - I’m just giving you a possible scenario - (imo)

Not sure, but can confirm it’s not SS (Cyprus) or GF (Landlord) as they’re the other men in the full photo, shown at the Mail link here.

I feel like I have seen him identified before though, either on Major Lang’s blog (which is so large that my iPad won’t load it!) or one of the other less ‘official’ sources.

Northparade
You are fairly new here I believe Do you have a favourite suspect ? And or the whereabouts of her rucksack?

I can understand your scenario but in my opinion it doesn't look like him.

If anything it looks more like SS but I understand he has a cast iron alibi.

I thought alleyman was likely to be the Richard guy who owned the properties in the road behind and died shortly after Claudia went missing. I don't think alleyman had anything to do with Claudia going missing.

The police think it was him as well but he died before they had chance to confirm it.

With respect why then did stop like that in the ‘shadows’ ?

It’s not Cartwright - he was eliminated. It’s PR
As it was suggested did PR confirm this to you ?
And if so when ? Because years later police released this clip in order to try to identify him

A couple of points
1. When the footage was released - two questions were posed by the team if you remember 1. Who is he and 2.WHAT is he doing?
Secondly the large screen was placed strategically by the team to face who they believed to be in the footage - as “sweat” tactics. Make no mistake NYP know who alleywayman is. Further more the msm link regarding Cartwright - whilst his properties were searched it was on the back of intelligence coming from appeals.

I can't post link as not msm but when i google, thecommentator claudia lawrence, it comes up for me first post. try thecommentator.co.uk
Was just looking because of your post about thecommentator. It's a 12 minute drive to Acomb. There's also woodland there. Fishponds Wood and Beech Grove. If I lived in Acomb, had a friend in a van/car, CL could be moved (dead or alive, I don't know), and then the person could easily return to the pub as if nothing had happened. If something then went wrong further it might be easier than previously thought to conceal CL's body. Sorry, awful I know, but trying to think like a desperate person who's done something bad. Then they take the rucksack with the phone back to the pub, thinking the signal will be recorded there (which also suggests they also know her or her social milieu well enough to know her normal routines). Then perhaps it gets recorded the next day in Acomb. If several people are involved as the police suspected at one point ( I don't know if they do now, but it's been stated in the past), it would be possible to move her somewhere and retain the phone within York to potentially imply she was still in York or that the perp was was from/in York - which may not be true. Or maybe it was unthinking. Having forgotten about the phone (very possible if the perp was drunk, as suggested by alleyman's walk in the CCTV footage on the evening of the 18th), the perp retrieves her bag and phone from somewhere hidden having already moved her/her body. They switch it off next day in order to falsely frame when she may have died/been disappeared. If her phone was still on but hidden, it suggests she was possibly separated from her bag with the phone and whites in it. That her cards were at home suggest she either didn't take her wallet to work or took cash only. She might have gone home and then gone out without cards (or even cash?) but she also could, if she had only taken cash, have therefore been abducted on her way home from work in the afternoon, or gone somewhere straight from work. Why would a killer (if Alleyman is realted to her disappearance) risk going back to retrieve her bag if not to recover her phone, but then why would he exit towards the pub? He wasn't concealing his identity, he may have gone past the pub - to a waiting car? Acomb is miles from work and home. Her phone and/or she will have got there in a car. It was only March so sunset was at 18:17, with dusk probably starting around an hour after her shift finished (was that at 3pm?!) - she had a 1.5 mile walk home, which would have taken her 25-40 mins, depending on how accurate Google Maps is. She could easily have been home by 3:30pm/4pm. There's four hours where we don't know where she was. She wasn't in the pub or at work. And she apparently had nothing but her white, phone and straighteners (?! it's such a bizarre combo). But we do know some things which aren't pure speculation. It would be worth thinking about those I think.
