Got it thanks, not much to find about him though.
He had 2 sons
One lived in France-The older one and he married a French girl.Who found out that she was pregnant around the time of CL disappearance.
The younger one worked as a part time bar hand at nags when he was home from UNI.

CL apparently didn't like Cooper.

Hasn’t there been some suggestion that members of two PoIs’ extended families have appeared in court fairly often, even if this does not apply to the specific PoIs in this case?

Might there have been concern that Claudia’s rumoured liaison with a police officer was a risk to some activity of some sort? If true, was that liaison being spied on by others?

My opinion of this case has long been that she accidentally or even unwittingly divulged something in the NH when drunk on 13th March that led to the events of 18th/19th. IMO there is a reason why she never frequented the NH after 13th March, but we may never know what that reason is.

I've postulated a similar theory before An_Owl - that there was some kind of drug operation and I do believe I read somewhere that the NH was being surveilled by police for that at the time of the disappearance. As the leading actors all seem to be practically in each others pockets, it would make sense that perhaps there was an indiscreet remark made on the 13th as you say.

Just referring to CL text about 12 early shifts, she may just be innocently exaggerating

Regarding the speculation about shifts. Is it possible Claudia knew she was in trouble once she realised she was indiscreet, and decided to stay away (or was told to stay away) hence the early shifts fib? Add to this the apparent person at the door the night before and her looking out both ways to see if anyone saw them...well - I tend to think she knew she was in strife.

IMHO of course.

Yes absolutely, something which further underlines this is everyone is so nice about Claudia - no one makes any I’ll remarks, everyone loves Claudia.

Just a note - Claudia went into the nags head beyond the 13th on Sunday the 15th in the evening. It’s acknowledged by JK as she was on shift there then.

Just a thought, the text sent from Claudia's phone advising she was scheduled to work twelve shifts in a row which had not been signed off with her trademark kisses, do you feel this had been sent by the perpetrator/s. With the reason being to throw people off the sent and to play for more time after CH disappearence?

I feel the text was sent by Claudia - I do feel there was some kind of friction between CL & JK.

Just a thought - put the kisses to one side - what’s even more curious is the timing of the text - it’s possibly the last text ever sent - coincidence? And I’ve not seen anywhere that it was ever replied to - coincidence ?

We would have to rely upon JK or Police mentioning a reply. Hope JK's phone didn't also go missing.

But no reply was necessary imo
And SC might have been slightly envious she was not going on holiday with them

The podcast titled "Her name was Claudia" suggests that an Ahmed or Jake are linked to CL's disappearance

If you go for 'Accessory to murder' that person will squeal the whole story.

I’m listening to the podcasts
The fact ? the pub landlord had his wife living there is news to me! I don’t know if this is important or not.
One other point I take from this podcast is this : The police have still to identify the male dna found in her car !
The fact he never came forward suggests guilt !
And this in return eliminates the current suspects surely ?
You would think they’ve all been asked for their dna ?

The ones charged were Michael Snelling, Peter and Shane Ruane, David Robinson, Alistair Cooper. Others questioned include Paul Harris, Simon Foreman.

Someone will always see you having an affair even if you think you are discreet.

This is incorrect. No one has ever been "charged". MS was arrested and questioned and had his house searched. He was later bailed and then released without charge. Same with "the 4", although when they were all questioned, it resulted in a file being passed to the CPS to consider whether to go ahead and bring charges. They declined, and did not believe there was a realistic prospect of conviction with the evidence available.

Re the bus cctv, has everyone got screenshots of what they see? I saw a shadowy figure somewhere near the car in front. I can't see the video to demonstrate, unless someone can easily share?

Wondering if anyone else sees a person's head/shoulders/upper body - looks like they walk in between the pick up and the car parked in front of it. Have turned images on side - look at the 03 on the left?
