I see it now. Its the one where the poster, a local to York is saying the following about P_L

Here are the comments:

" I lived just down the road from Claudia when this happened and I'll never shake the memory of our highschool field being searched and helicopters above the school because Michael Snelling lived next door!
I also know that a lot of people hold a lot of weight to her father being suspicious. A lot of people in York believe that he's guilty of something but I'm not sure what this is based off."

So here she is saying that she has heard rumour about him?

Then in reply to this another poster says:


"I'm also from York (have lived here all my life) and i've heard the whispers about her dad. Somebody I know (who has a certain amount of inside knowledge about the case) said "her dad isn't as innocent as people think".

END

The reply then attempts to support this by saying that they know someone who has a certain amount of inside knowledge??


We can take this a number of ways:

It is gossip
There is substance to the comments
There is some clever manipulation of social media by Perps

Personally I believe that her Father is suffering most from this trauma and so the above is gossip. But this is for other Sleuths to decide on.
Particularly when some of the investigators like Macintyre and the one with the double barrelled name, claim that they have seen some of the police evidence.

In many crimes we tend to find the clues and then find the Perps. In this crime I think I will continue to work backwards unless convinced otherwise.

I have wondered if CL's death or at least the fact no one has been prosecuted could have something to do with PL and his own discrepancies. Remember the SR/ware&kay connection. If the Fab 4 arrest was a plot to catch Snelling or at least force them to cooperate (alone we can't prove it's you, as a group effort we have figured out a timeline that does implicate you all etc so spill the beans on Snelling/wear a wire and meet up with him....) I wonder if they tried to unearth dirt on him/ found something out whilst soliciting legal advice from a W&K employee

Were they that loyal to snelling that they wouldn't just shop him?
I get your second point about wearing a wire though.

sure if phone company will have disconnected it by now-perhaps Police agreed to keep it going and her Dad paying the contract.
I think he would probably have done that if Suzy is leaving messages.

Re the You_tu_be comments, I was more interested in this SH post:

'I'm from York and have lived here all my life.... CL was also involved with men from a certain community...a community you wouldn't want to mess with, and I think it was one of the wives from this community.'

Some one on the FB page has just pointed out something very interesting.... That the gait of the person in the CCTV image from Limes Court, is VERY similar to that of Claudia's.... Take a look....

@Draven, it's difficult to see from the stills, but have a look at the actual videos of Claudia leaving work and her leg shape when she walks, then compare it to the video from Limes Court.... The person who posted this maybe on to something.

The timings of the Lime Court CCTV would be perfect, if it is Claudia?

@Popejohn3 I thought that too...then remembered the hair dye found in Claudia's bathroom....??? A change of appearance?

EDIT - perhaps the daytime and night time sightings are different people. The night time person's gait is very similar to Claudia's

I have watched the college & post office cctv, along with the Hemworth Place footage & still don’t think it’s Claudia, but definitely a guy in my opinion.

To be perfectly honest, I don’t know if it is the same person, but do strongly believe it to be cctv of a male on both.
I could be proven completely wrong & it’s good all the theories regarding her disappearance, because hopefully it might prick someone’s mind with a memory that could put a end to it all & give the family peace at last.

Not if you look at the text history she had with her best friend Liz from Malton they were texting at and around 7 when this person was in Heworth Place

I am of the thought that it is the same man... I think he went to just see if there was a light on, if involved and had a plan was checking to see if CL was home, even if just paid off to give a thumbs up. I'd like to see if he had been picked up doing the same any time before; seems to know about the alley, which I don't think you would without prior knowledge. It has to be someone with a good understanding of the road and houses, pubs, buildings to even know that alley existed.
