I wonder whether JK looked for lights at Claudia's house on her way home. Were the lights on or off when her dad opened the house door?

Yes would be interesting as would perhaps indicate if she was home/returned on evening/early hours of Weds 18th e.g. if she just left early as planned that morning then I doubt she'd have left anything on as she'd have been back in bright sunshine in the afternoon whereas lights on would indicate she never came back from secret boyfriend....

Mind you it is claimed she wouldn't undraw curtains in the morning so perhaps that scenario proves little.

Very little is known about Cl 35 th birthday
Was this picture taken on her birthday and by whom ?
Also in your medium post you wonder if her ‘old fashioned slippers ‘ were a Xmas present .Could also have been a birthday present.Has a birthday presents list ever been compiled?
You can bet your bottom Euro that a ‘new’ boyfriend would have bought her something ?!
Did she celebrate her 35 th in the NH ?

Hard for me to answer most of those questions @Popejohn3 Nut one I can answer for sure.
The slippers. You would have to be some pretty sad boyfriend to buy your girlfriend, a new one at that a pair of slippers.
I have been married for many many years and even I wouldn't dream of buying my wife a pair of slippers for her birthday-Not very romantic :)

I do think the slippers are a bit of a giveaway though. Perhaps Mum or Dad bought her them and she didn't like them. If she had gone outside in her favourite slippers or even if they went with her, someone may we'll have placed another pair of slippers in the right place to make things look normal?

The thought of her ‘new’ boyfriend buying her slippers never entered my head.
I was simply suggesting we should not ignore her birthday!
You must know then that birthdays are massive for most women !
Did she have a cake with candles ?
Surely some photos must exist ?

The type of cake she liked I understand was made of white icing sugar

with a little time on my hands I decided to do a bit of cruising up and down Heworth road on Google maps ( it can be annoying when it jumps to a different year image grhh) but I got sight of this vehicle. Avery Berkel sell and service weighing scales, refrigerator cabinets, meat slicers/mincers. made me wonder who services Goldricke College canteen equipment.
Could a rep be CL's mystery man
The car is Kia and the contract started with Avery in 2010.. might be interesting to know what cars there sales/service team drove before then.. I noted T.M Lewin bags at CL's House the shop is a tailoring chain supplying classic and contemporary shirts, suits and accessories for men and women. She may have purchased something for herself but she also have purchased something for a man although the shop style would suit her father classic suits and shirts are also rep wear...
just a thought

If they were brought by a bf, then I think he must be older as apparently they were of the old fashioned type, but personally, as you say, unless she asked for slippers it's not likely any bf especially a new one would buy them

David Oxer would know who services the canteen equipment.
Did Claudia ever attend any catering exihitions.
The Kia car on Heworth road looks very much like a ford focus shape, although Kia's contract with Avery started in 2010 they could have had a car on loan for a year before the contract started to test its performance.
From 1998 - 2008 the ford focus was the best selling car in the UK 2009 it slipped to second place being replaced by the ford fiesta so its quite possible reps were driving a focus in 2009

T.M Lewin is not a cheap shop.
did she by someone gifts from Lewins
Had someone bought her a gift for her birthday from the store
Did a male she knew shop at the store
Did she date a male that worked there

You know revealing negative aspects of her life does not advance her case .
I for one have been dedicated to Cl case right from the start and wanted / wished her to be found for herself but most of all for her father’s sake and others close to her.
I don’t think I would have been so keen on her case if i knew the things being revealed .

But if you're afraid of treading on eggshells you will never find out what happened.
We have lots of lies being told in this case:
How can a lady, described as being shy and not capable of saying boo to a goose by her work colleagues, who goes on her holidays with a steady boyfriend who watches her make friends with bar owners that export vehicles etc. from UK and are not the type to be messed with (Not my words) who has many complex relationships-mainly with middle aged men who already have partners and is described as being in multiple relationships.
Who when dissapears sparks an immediate call to action (Clearly on a watch list)

I would also like to believe that Claudia was a simple, shy girl.
Unfortunately we seem to have a Ying / Yang of evidence.
It appears to me that her Friends and Family are trying to protect her reputation yet those who are trying harder to find her are more open to the type of person she was.

Only by understanding how Claudia really lived her life will you find out what happened to her.
