What was the timetable for the bus at that time of the night, one an hour or more frequent (or even going out of service at 10).

I presume not given it seems a busy road and covers a few areas so buses CCTV after that one released and then in early hours of Thurs 19th would show if the vehicles of interest were still there or had gone.

Again must be a reason why that particular Bus CCTV at that time was released and we're giving it a good go on here!
Police advised that the Black SUV outside her house left the area at 21:40

They make it a little bit more entertaining though don’t you agree ?
Or would you rather get more crime statistics from that big book ! Lol
its ok PJ. He is one of my haters who I exposed a while back. Either posts from HMP or is out on remand for a dastardly deed.

Why would she need to go out to spend the night with someone? She had her own home, no house mates that may be upset by overnight guests and she had another early start next day. I don't see why she would need to go out in order to spend the night with someone. Also remember that NYP have found lots of fingerprints in her home that so far they have been unable to ascertain who these belong to. Why so many unknown fingerprints in the home of a single woman? Ive not read anywhere that she held house parties etc. So why all the fingerprints?
CL had only been in her new house for app 2+ years .Diy people were mentioned on her Facebook page so these people would have left fingerprints. She made friends with around 15 people from Hale in Manchester .Some of these spent weekends in her house again leaving fingerprints. And I understand they were not all traced .

I'm just surprised particularly as they were planning/booking the holiday so would've been more than the usual meet up.
Its this reason that I feel SC would have been offended we have seen previously how she withdraws from the situation when being offended she takes it very seriously. Its a personality type. We know a text was sent this would usually result in a reply when it didnt she says they thought she CL had fallen asleep this isnt an unusual assumption its a normal thought mode. If anything it shows that in the days preceeding CL's disappearance her life and state of mind was normal and stable giving her friends no cause for concern .
But as I mention previously were they unduly concerned because they suspected she may have been with someone we know that RCampbell was in UK at the time .. MLang might be able to confirm if SC had ever shown interest or had a relationship with RC if she had it would change the mix for me

Do you know what his occupation was PJ

I've always thought claudia had to have another source of income as her lifestyle was way above her earnings, the escort scenario seems most likely as there seemed to be plenty of middle aged local men who would probably be quite happy to pay for a night with claudia, especially as they all seem to be at least reasonably well off

She was a Chef which would certainly open up opprtunities to supplement her income by catering outside of the workplace ie for small parties birthdays weddings etc demands for birthday and weddings cakes would provide a good sideline for making money.
It has also been said that she helped out with breakfast at the NH, we know she made regular trips to the Acomb area were some of these trips because she was also helping out with catering at pubs?

Any idea what time the white van parked outside Quartz Travel left the area?

SC: 'we have seen previously how she withdraws from the situation when being offended she takes it very seriously. Its a personality type.'

Or just a typical female response! I agree this may be why she didn't follow up, thinking the onus was now on CL to make contact. I'm sure in her wildest dreams she wouldn't have thought some harm had come to CL, being only 35 yo. If others in the pub persuaded SC all was ok, suggesting plausible reasons for CLs absence, I believe this would explain it. But by Friday, her gut instinct kicked in.

Hmm this morning I obviously got it wrong .i had five postings deleted because the post I quoted was deleted ( I was told )
I wrongly thought it was Mekon’s post ! But it looks like it was Semion’s post.
I tried to find the post where he said ... at the very end ... that it is going to be another year before the case is solved!
Is this right Semion ?
I mean was your post taken out ?

I have previously asked the question here that if Dan was the only person who CL had told she had a boyfriend and he was the one that told police then Dan was he only source of the information which maybe suspect....did she really tell him or could he have made it up to distract attention away from himself

Or did CL use this as a strategy to deter unwanted attention from males (maybe she was 'over' Dan, him being an ex, and wanted to move on in her friendship circles)? If NYP could trace all CLs old texts, this could be determined. In the case of DO, it could be pretty awkward deflecting the attentions of a work colleague, so this could be quite effective and might explain why he didn't bother trying to pick her up on the way to work (something he wouldn't admit on camera).

Bit harsh there PJ. Are you speaking from personal experience here?!

This has been discussed previously as a possible source of income but DS Galloway was at pains to point out (probably after having mortally offended CL's family) that she was not an escort because police didn't believe she had the characteristics or lifestyle compatible with this type of work.

Must have spent plenty going out, was partial to a holiday or two, had a mortgage and stabled a horse, some going on her wage

How her disclosure was relayed is a real sticking point its complicated by the fact that mobile companies only retain retain message for a certain period of time so the retention of the text conversation between CL and Dan could well have expired. She could of course had a verbal conversation with him in this case there would be no proof other than his word
In the programme missing or murder the narrator says police believe C|L had a casual boyfriend at the time but the lover of the nite of the 16th was someone else. Do you think there were able to trace this person and eliminate him thats why they were able to state this fact?
Im always confused on the forum when people are talking about boyfriend ..whereever possible if people could be a little more precise ie reported boyfriend or reported mysteryman/lover of the nite of 16th I would appreciate it.
I think this whole conversation with DO is interesting.
