I don’t think it’s one of her close social group but yes he did know her !
I don't understand, if it was someone unknown to the close social group (but known to CL): WHY fGs did they all behave the same in not helping the police? That's the giant mystery to me. Nobody of them wanted to clear his own name once and for all? WHY. Each of them is going on with life despite its own damaged reputation? WHY.

These are my thoughts exactly.....WHY would you choose to be uncooperative when a very close friend has vanished into thin air!

I understand some of the Poi' s remain in the local area with their families but have always wondered why one now lives opposite Claudia's house,,,,why would anyone choose to live directly opposite her house??! I understand established communities and feeling settled in that area etc but living directly opposite must be like living in a time bubble, in the past, almost reliving the trauma of her disappearance and keeping it alive (so to speak). Why live there of all places??? This may be a comfort thing, such as we're here should she ever return, but for me it would be unthinkable to choose to see that green door every single time I looked out of my window, returned from work etc especially if I'd once lived in the property with Claudia and spent time with her there, laughing with her crying with her....for me this is a very strange choice.

Who owned the house when Claudia went missing. Maybe she's under the patio.

ive just come to....by they did you mean cs family, pope John....so were going to start victim blaming now...

I can believe the perp was someone say, who was big in the drugs scene and not one of her friends, but I. certainly think that at least one or two know what happened.

if the police are going to cut a deal, they've got to have something to cut a deal with...and if the friends are suffering because of rumours and they're not telling police what they know, they can stop those stories.

if the perp is a wealthy drugs dealer etc, hell be able to afford good lawyers and the police have to have a very convincing overall case...joining up the dots

I bet most will be happy to as long as they do not ask questions like have you ever cheated on your wife ? Have you ever bought contraband cigs ? Etc etc
I think the police tried to solve her disappearance as well as ALL minor crimes ( minor when compared to possible murder ) all in one big swoop ! Ended up solving nothing ! So far that is !
Don't think the police would be asking about cigarettes if certain people were attached to a polygraph machine

What is this? Recording/tracker or a childhood evaluation
Einstein's little sister, mentally verrry untalented, thinks (maybe completely wrong):
We don't need to spend money as suggested. Wouldn't help our case.
It's only the same thing, we do here on WS: take apart every sentence and every word and every term from a report (eg on a criminal case, eg accidentally CL) in order to grasp the exact meaning. Only that we don't need it to create new software and we don't need to be engineers. ;)

Who is cs please?

The house has been searched more than once with dogs, I believe.
She will either have been cremated in a Malton crematorium or crushed in a close proximity scrap yard in my opinion. Her connections had access to both. But there won't be mention of that in Neil Roots book as it would have been edited out.

I thought the person you are referring to was living there before CL disappeared?

If the poi's who remain in the local area know a body will never be found this would explain how they could live with this and carry on with their lives....

It has been said many times a body may be under the uni however if so there is still a risk this could be discovered which would potentially incriminate the perp. so either the perp has mind blowing arrogance or is living in constant fear.....

@MajorLang : If Malyn knows who the perps are, will he also have a good idea of what happened to the body even if he can neither prove it, nor say it publically? And if so, how did he come to figure out the likely scenario(s) I wonder.

I’m totally with you @Sunshine.77 but think of the Yorkshire Ripper’s ex-wife, who still lives in the house she shared with him when he committed all those murders Yorkshire Ripper's ex-wife still lives in house she shared with serial killer
