Hello @Vixey and nice to hear from a different Sleuth. I believe the star was given to Suzie cooper by the administrator of that FB page as a "badge of honour" or indicates she is an administrator or moderator. I could be wrong and so It would be good to hear from others?
But what is more revealing about this posting on FB by Cooper is that it was posted on 19th March but Suzie didn't know she was missing until 20th??? also it was 10 days before police announced they believed she had been murdered ????
Maybe its time the rabbit hole was flushed out

Hello all, just like to add Claudia carries her rucksack on the left shoulder in uni cctv. I have been reading over old threads as much as possible to catch up, possibly wasted much time barking up the wrong tree. I have a question in regards to a Facebook ss, does anyone know what the star represents?
Possibly wasted much time barking up the wrong tree who was barking up the wrong tree you or us on the thread?

Yes I always found this comment revealing:
He adds that Claudia was a different person when she had been drinking. “If she didn’t like someone she would snarl at them and it could get her into trouble.”

Also I know DW was fixated on the Cyprus connection but is this because he was completely unaware of her links with men in the NH? Not sure CL would have shared details of these multiple relationships with older married men with DW.

'Jealous partner' theory on missing Claudia
It is understood that Miss Lawrence, 36, began relationships with several men who she met while drinking in the pub, and her father admitted that the liaisons had created “awkward situations” with her lovers’ partners.
Mr Lawrence, 63, a solicitor from Slingsby in North Yorkshire, said: “Claudia was given a bit of a hard time by one or two of them – but I don’t think there were physical attacks.”
He added: “If you think of any relationships at the Nag’s Head, both the man and the woman are going to be there.”

Police tell secret lovers of missing Claudia: come forward or we will reveal your affair

Galloway also revealed they had identified a mysterious "handful" of men that they urgently wanted to question in relation to her possible murder. Some people who knew Claudia had either vanished or had yet to come forward, he said. Detectives were aware of their nicknames and other personal details and that some might have been secret lovers of the missing 35-year-old.
Galloway admitted they had found gaps in the complex "relationship chart" of Claudia who had a number of covert sexual relationships with men, some of whom were married or had girlfriends, before she disappeared on 18 March. "We have a very comprehensive picture of Claudia's life but it's not complete. There are still some we know by nickname or other means who we really need to identify.

The missing men are in addition to a list of around 12 secret lovers who police have already identified or questioned.

Apparently it is possible to amend the time and date of a FB post - but why would you....other than to make it more relevant perhaps?

Feel free to research your own questions PJ (!) but I'm sure you know info of this nature is not out there in the msm. Reasonably educated guesses of names is possible based on police comments of NH people arrested and/or interviewed, her lifestyle, behaviour & routines, based on info from 'friends' and NH regulars - I would say at least 4.[/QUOTE]

Or in long term relationships. 4 is a very conservative estimate.
What are you implying?
It would only take 1 jealous and/or angry man/partner/wife who has the opportunity and a knowledge of the victim's home address, daily/evening routines to commit this crime. For me, this leads back to the NH community.

@Yozzer You should not have to defend your views.
I would like to see the approach from the "Vatican" to be more open minded and to stop defending the Nags Head crowd so often.
They are big enough and ugly enough to do this themselves and if they had cooperated more fully with the police would not find themselves in a position of suspicion.

Why did PL use the Singular?

  • #118

Good question - PL is a solicitor and I think this is just him speaking 'correctly' as a legal professional would. He assumes (rather than knows IMO) that either one man or woman was involved. Unless it was a slip of the tongue and he did have suspicions as I think you are suggesting but I think he would be more careful.;)

This article is interesting as we hear from both PL and AL (sister) who is obviously now aware of the CL/NH activity in this 2010 article. I suspect PL knew a lot of what was going on beforehand (he was, after all, a regular visitor to the NH) while I believe AL only discovered the extent of it as a result of the police investigation.
Mrs Sims said: “She seems to have wound up one or two other halves along the way. Is it a crazy idea to suggest this was a revenge act?”
