I find the whole social media discussion regarding Claudia now being occupied by many who seek to defend the arrested rather than seek to understand why they are arrested.
I don't believe that anyone should try and stand in the way of Police who clearly will know who did it by now.
Yet wether it's on here, FB, Reddit or other media channels, the supporters of those "hard done by" keep rolling in as if they were their drinking buddies from the Nags head.
But what is more worrying is that it continues and to be completely honest, The 4 are big enough and ugly enough to stand up for themselves and come on here in their real name and explain where they were and what they were doing when Claudia disappeared, rather than placing bets on who's next or getting their girlfriends to defend them and rock up for the next documentary whilst they sit back in the pub with their pint and dominos.
Agreed even if it’s just to deny they had anything to do with it .
Perhaps they should ignore the police advice not to go on social media if such advice was ever given that is !
And there is no need for them to come up with “ just because we do/ did this and that ...”
It’s none of our business what else you do or did !
Did you hurt Claudia ?
If we know you we might not even have to ask that question but we don’t !!

Has this been discussed before (and apologies if it has)...if anyone who lived with her for a period of time knew her habits inside the house, where she left her toothbrush, where she left her slippers etc....could have 'set the scene' or told someone how to set the scene to make it look like C went to work as usual? Sorry if I'm stating the obvious - I probably am. JMO.

A youtube video popped up as suggested viewing and it was about CL. I'd never seen it before. It was dated 2019 but I didn't keep it so unsure which one it was now. When I watched it I became understanding for the first time about previous comments in this thread about crocodile tears. I'd not fully seen it for myself up to that point. But I see it now. Just my own opinion.

On page 236 in Gone
It says Ann Askew , Claudia’s Aunty went on holiday with Peter !
Where did they go ? Did he lend his car to Claudia if he was not going to use it ?
And did she make the most of it and traveled far when not working ? What did he drive ? I bet she enjoyed driving a much better car ( I assume) than her old ‘banger ‘ ?
I read somewhere Peter had the use of a holiday home in South of France .
Did Claudia ever go there ?

All very good questions.

If the man was ID'd, e.g. by a local following that Heworth Place campaign, there is no way he could fail to remember being there when presented with those 2 images so either he is playing the game of 'you prove it's me because I'm telling you I was at home with my wife and she is backing me' or he has come up with a 'plausible' reason for being there at those particular times.
Or he was not id’d !

Yes it has been discussed. It's worth mentioning that we know the bathroom is on the ground floor next to the kitchen and being an old property, may not have had a shaver socket; hence the electric t/brush being left on the draining board would not necessarily indicate that she had left in a rush but is more likely its normal resting place to drain before putting back on its stand. Just my reasoning.
And of course you are correct, anyone who has lived with her would be familiar with her daily routines, pm and am.

No @Officer Dibble its not obvious but it's true
She would have know how to lay things out and perhaps leave the hair dye out to make it look like Claudia was disappearing and disguised.

Caught you @Popejohn3

Defending someone who's shift as a bar maid would end before the witching hour.
Plenty time to do other stuff.
Perhaps you can explain to all in WS why you are so quick to jump to the defence of some but not others???

Any idea what time the person in question left the pub that night ?

Question for you and only the police would have an answer to this :
If ‘they’ had time to set the scene were there any tell tale signs like door nobs and handles for example that had no fingerprints what so ever !

I believe that she worked the night of the 19th and in her way home passed Claudias with her boyfriend. She knew that Claudia did not turn up for a meeting with Suzy. I'm not saying she worked the night of the 18th.

Thank you. I hadn't worked out the hair dye situation - how obvious and yet it didn't occur to me. Thanks.

This woman is a genius she committed the perfect crime she should be asked begged even to join NYP
Just for balance, why don't you share your theory on here?

  • #478
It's a good point @Popejohn3
Surely the easiest way for police to identify if a crime scene had been covered up would be lack of prints in certain areas rather than lots of prints.
But when was her house treat as a crime scene rather than the empty house of a missing person and how well had the scene been protected?

Because mine is not just a theory ... it’s based on a unknown fact !
It’s up to the police to do the prework then ask questions !
By asking the perpetrator/s questions on here, you’d be giving them plenty of time to come up with a suitable answer even though that answer could be a lie !

If you want to know my theory listen to John Bowe YouTube podcast ... it’s like he is reading my mind ! But no idea where Malta came from ! I checked it’s nowhere near Cyprus though .
