Quite, and rumour has it that he is far from popular in Malton. Anyway probably out of work soon as he works for European Parliament as an advisor and aide to MEP's
Well he will still have control over the local parks and crematorium

Father of Claudia Lawrence ‘not aware of statement' issued by spokesman Martin Dales
But Mr Lawrence said in a statement yesterday: “I was not aware of the content of last week’s press release nor even of the fact that it was to be issued. The words and sentiments are those of Martin Dales and not me, as he tells me he tried to make clear. The statement does not in any way reflect my views of my opinion.

“No members of the North Yorkshire police investigation team has ever been ‘rude and unhelpful’ – everyone of them has been most courteous. I have not made any call for an independent review of the police investigation.”

Mr Lawrence, who lives in Slingsby, said the public reaction to Mr Dales’ statement last week had been that he was ungrateful.

He said: “On the contrary, I am most grateful to the police and in particular the investigation team, for continuing to investigate Claudia’s disappearance.”
-.-.-

Pretty uncomfortable, if you disagree with the family spokesman's statement.
Makes you wonder who he was/is the spokesman for!

I believe that this is how Freemasons deal with things @Popejohn3
Gerry McCann and Peter Lawrence both of the "cloth" and Peter chose his very dear friend Martin Dale who was also a trouser raiser and breast revealer.
News to me

Can anyone shed a light on this for me : Why have family spokesmen in some of these high profile cases ?
Especially when the parents and I’m referring to more than one case here , are highly educated and articulate?
One is wondering all the time whether the spokesmen are in full possession of the facts and therefore one takes their statements with a pinch of salt ... perhaps ?
Just to add the above was in no way a criticism of the two spokesmen in recent famous case .
Just questioning the wisdom of the practice of having family spokesmen that is all !

I have just watched a programme on the abduction and murder of Leeds school girl, Leanne Tiernan. Her remains were found in a wood 20 miles away 9 months after her disappearance, after the perp had stored a body in a freezer for several months. I do wonder sometimes if CL’s body might have been stored in a freezer before being disposed of weeks or months later.

Ive often wondered that as well, sort of laying low until the initial heat was off

Probably just my tired mind producing nonsense but if you change one word in this

“The last text she sent was saying she had a row of 12 early start shifts, and how she wasn’t going to have a life for a bit.”

to

“The last text she sent was saying she had a row ABOUT 12 early start shifts, and how she wasn’t going to have a life for a bit.“

It gives it a totally different context, and may suggest a person in authority at work putting pressure on her, hardly a motive for murder or abduction, but maybe payback for a person scorned.

I think they need a court order to retrieve the information from the mobile provider so much easier to get it off the phone, but yes you may be correct about the data retention.
I'm not quite shore that was the exact wording of the text-Do you have the quote available.
I recall that it said "12 shifts in a row...."

Pleas look at these messages from an Anon. source on social media.
It tells us a lot about Claudia and her other friends that we don't hear of and confirms what many feel about JK.

Was this Oxer wife speaking?
Please read in order.

Either Oxer’s or Cummings’s wife maybe? But why say that everyone in York knows who’s done it and why? Neither @moonsafari nor I know although we have suspicions. Who is ‘everyone’? You need evidence to say that you know who killed someone, otherwise the verb ‘suspect’ would be more accurate.

It's neither the name of oxer or cummings wife, although in fairness I'd expect them to use a false name in the circumstances

Do we know who these two best male friends are, @MajorLang?

  • #755
I would think one of them is her acomb drinking buddy anth Newby, she used to work with him in the monkbar, he still works there, incidentally cummings wife is Facebook friends with him although her husband who seems to have forgot his 7 years there doesn't seem to be

I for my part don't remember "wasn't going to have a life for a bit". I remember (maybe wrongly?), Claudia wrote: it isn't easy (or very similar). I stumbled upon this, because I thought at the time: Who wouldn't know, that 12 morning shifts aren't easy. Why should she have mentioned that? - If the sms was fake, then these words were unmasking, IMO. - Now there is another text suddenly and I'm wondering.

ETA: Why should she have mentioned that to her best friend and ex-room mate JK?
