It's interesting that you mention this about Peter Lawrence and Martin Dale's.

If you watch the tv footage when Galloway mentions the mystery boyfriend. Peter L is most perturbed at the mention.
Where was Martin Dales pushing this.
I'm not sure if Peter was upset because of the mention of yet another man or was this a prickly subject for other reasons.
I show attached the screenshots of Peters expression changes during the mention-Clearly he is not happy????

I dont know to what extent pl might be upset about more boyfriends....maybe he just thinks that it will cost claudia sympathy or he doesn't trust the reliable sources as much as his spokesman does.

if the police started playing down her personal life after the crime watch appeal and it was connected with the couple arguing, it sounds to me as if something happened to lessen their interest in that sighting.

It has been mooted on here that DO might have been pestering CL and the story was invented to get him off her back.

I don’t see the need to have a family spokesman in this or any other case with the exception of a non English speaking victims family.
The possibility of confusion and mistakes abound .
Same goes for the number of policemen involved in the early days of the investigation.
Too many cooks spoils the ....
And God helps the officer in charge trying to read all those reports from so many sources !
Some officers don’t even take notes or record the conversations !

The McCanns have managed to have a very successful spokesperson that's kept them out of trouble

The issue here is the journalists at Northern Echo got this wrong
The couple at Melrosegate Bridge were seen talking-The couple by University Road at 06:10 the same morning were seen arguing.
Just proves that you can't rely upon media reports.

But am I right in saying that these witnesses ( of both sightings ) have actually come forward again and identified themselves ?

Peter states he went to the nags head 3-4 times a week and regarding married men, he was aware just a bit of fun! I find odd but shows there is no issue,so we can say something hit a nerve. I feel peter would attend the nags head as he liked to be away from his village and possibly relax and enjoy whatever the appeal was in there. I believe peter has not complained in any part of the Claudia investigation and has not put any pressure for more cctv, did he request a sars? Offer a personal reward etc. Though he did get claudias law and demanded to know wether he was hacked or phone and received a medal.

I believe Suzy Cooper, when see her now she has aged terribly, she was a decent looking woman before but clearly the stress and grief has physically affected her.

There is a bit of chatter about Peter Lawrence not being all he seems. Can someone actually explain this accurately without dancing around it in riddles, what was so off about him and things he used to say?!
