I believe Suzy Cooper, when see her now she has aged terribly, she was a decent looking woman before but clearly the stress and grief has physically affected her.

There is a bit of chatter about Peter Lawrence not being all he seems. Can someone actually explain this accurately without dancing around it in riddles, what was so off about him and things he used to say?!

I think that what ive picked up about pl is that he's very good friends with his spokesman....nudge, nudge, wink wink,....not that there's anything wrong with that....I just dont know why he'd feel the need to hide it.

it also seems that its rather strange if he doesn't mind watching his daughter mauled or have insulting sexual remarks made to her, as some people have indicated.

it depends how he played it....it might have been a good sign that he wanted to go where his daughter was instead of completely isolating her there...but his general attitude to what went on there with Claudia is a bit odd, I find.

maybe he reconciled himself to its with the justification that he was sexually tolerant and felt more able to be himself there and accepted, like his daughter, as a bit odd but one of their oddities.

I wonder, as well, if his spokesman might have more sympathy with the idea of local rogues being leant on by the big boys and he felt they were suffering disproportionately.

we talk about the family spokesman....how does Claudius mother feel about that

Suzy cooper previously said peter lawrence reported Claudia missing via call and at the police station, and police came down to the nags head pub to speak to her friends.then another article speaks of suzy and Jen saying they were at the police station and peter came in saying this sort of thing never happens to us. But this lady stated suzy went into the police station alone and reported her friend missing? Why is is so difficult to get basics cleared up! Which one is correct?

I think it was damage limitation after the media went beserk with that story and Joan Lawrence complained about Galloway. Of course this was before the DO disclosure in 2010 threw a different light on things.

I was in York in Late 2019 on a trip. Didn't stay long-Tourist I suppose on business. Popped into Nags and checked out alley

I dont know where the rumour about pl being gay came from and its totally irrelevant....in my eyes that doesn't make you strange in any way....im just saying that a lot of people seem to think he has a special relationship in this way with the family advisor....just adds a bit of a not clear picture to the whole thing-

Okay, it maybe irrelevant (the rumor about PL), but then it is also rather irrelevant, that Claudia got into a situation once as a teenager, where "she saw something, that she never should have seen" (btw: I don't know, who said this). About the latter we talked indeed some time, with the question in mind, whether Claudia would have had suffered and her life style/sex life/relationship to men could have been influenced negatively by the incident. So, if the rumor would be true, it could have influenced her life too, even more than the divorce of her parents. IMO

I think the suggestion here is that PL may have been compromised (blackmailed?) by this (if true) due to his former role as a police prosecuting solicitor and his life as a devoted church follower, English country gentleman and pillar of the community. I agree, the world has moved on, mainly.

If it is not a 'football shirt' hanging in the rear window of the speeding Heworth vehicle on the morning of 19th March 2009 - 5:42am. Then a vehicle parked outside Melrosegate Post Office Oct 2009 needs checking out (the same PO that Claudia used 18th March 2009)... as this has something similar in its rear window.

ive no idea if popejohn is leading us on a merry dance, but he says that everyone in York knows who the person. was who killed claudia and why he did it.

if this is true, it doesn't sound accidental, though it might have been unplanned when he met her that evening....you also said something about tracing it back to the mysterious boyfriend....who can't be that mysterious if everyone knows who he is.

I know you can't name names, but any comments , especially about accident versus intent, popejohn.

we've talked about trying to nibble away at the minor characters to make progress..I think thats what the police are trying to do by getting ids off the cctv...but I dont think they've got much hope on the figures themselves
