I always read this as him being considerate of families worse off than himself; as in he had become enlightened as to what other families in this position had to face. I think a lot of families in adverse situations try to channel themselves into something like this e.g. Suzy Lamplugh's parents, Sarah Payne's mother etc. so that they can make something positive come from losing a close relative. He is clearly uncomfortable in this clip.

Is he wearing a hearing aid? I also noticed what looked like a hearing aid in another picture of him. He seems to be 'reading' Piers Morgan's face as PM speaks.

Yes he looks extremely uncomfortable, seems very shifty and reluctant to give a straight answer. I would like to think he pushed for Claudias law not just for himself but for the benefit of other grieving families, but I'm not so sure

I think he has a very unfortunate manner in front of camera....I always get the impression that he agrees to something too easily and then wishes he hasn't....too keen to please certain people...but that might just be the way he
comes across

I have no particular axe to grind in this matter...im really just trying to find out.

it seems to me that what you've heard indicates that the friends had no role in Claudius death or disappearance...if thats what you believe, then, of course, you should tell us of this and disabuse us of any incorrect ideas we may have.

on the other hand, you say that you have heard they would probably have cooperated more if the police hadn't tried to widen the enquiry into dealing with other matters.

I know this is just what you've heard, but isn't there a contradiction here....either they have more information they could give about claudia or they haven't....regardless of what the police do.

I guess trying to square that circle is just one of life's little mysteries

Article here from the sister's perspective. Apparently JL was over at Ali's house when PL broke the news to them on the Friday.

I can see only a blurred image of what looks like one, possibly two people in the detailed shot.They could be embracing and they could just be a couple walking by.
In the main shot there is slot of starburst type of light which does create visions of something not there.
The people can not be distinguished as anyone in particular.
I'm Sur EUR people look hard enough their mind will help them to make out people that is buried in their subconscious from previously seen photos.

I sincerely hope NYPd have now turned that one stone they’ve missed 11 years ago .
They need to get proactive again and come up with something clever and ingenious in order to redeem themselves!

Why would the police be any closer to solving this than 2014-15 period when arrests were made and things were being dug up?

As much as we all have reasonable theories as to what's happened on here it wouldn't interest the CPS.

Things were being dug up 2014 -2015 but not necessarily about CL

we have to hope that something will crack this...its not impossible and not necessarily a confession....
