The old slippers would suggest that the person didnt know Claudia that well or hadn't been a regular visitor at her home
Meaning her mother? Yes, I can't imagine a would-be abductor /murderer bringing a spare set of granny slippers to set a scene, can you? Presumably police have tested all these items? I agree with Mrs L that CL seemed a bit too trendy to wear old fashioned slippers but I could imagine her wearing them if her dad had bought her a pair as a Christmas or birthday present. Mrs L would possibly be unaware of this.

This appeared on Facebook in the earlier days after she went missing
It was suggested the poster was Male
What strikes me about this case is the double standards applied. No-one forced these men to form a relationship (or 'friendship' as they like to say in a bid to distance themselves publicly) with her. They were all, by accounts, mature individuals who apparently fell under her spell. I can see why she wasn't popular with the wives and partners though.....

I’ve been trying to find out for a long time can anyone help ?
When did her car break down ?
Did it actually break down ?
Did she manage to drive it to the garage?
It must have been major damage ...she was gong to have a new engine?
Was she towed there ( garage ) by rac or the aa ?
Was the left handed smoker with her when the car broke down ? If it did break down?
How long was she walking to work ?
Her father was on holiday abroad perhaps weeks before she disappeared.Did she have the use of his car while he was away ?
Did the police manage to find her car on any cctv while she was driving it ? Did she have passengers with her ?

I was on YT looking for a CL clip and was surprised by how many there are! There is quite a cottage industry in CL.

Yes she was entitled to be as promiscuous as she definitely was and that's fine.

Some great questions
It's been a closely guarded secret PJ3 as far as I know.
All I can find is that it is a dark colours Corsa and is having an engine fitted. There is a garage behind Nags but so far no detail on who is repairing and in fact if it actually is being repaired or on loan to a mate.
If the police found where the car was being repaired and then the cigarette but we do t know if it was on road after being "fixed"

What I find strange is that at least one of her Nags friends (PR) had and still does a motor repair business yet from all accounts it wasn't been repaired by them?
Any Sleuths know more?

Friend will never forget her former housemate Claudia Lawrence

What Jen King has said just never sat right with me. If it was my friend that had gone missing, I can’t imagine talking in the way she did. It could be the way it was reported by the press, but I don’t think so.
Welcome back @RachelZachary

"Flogging a Dead Horse"

But then JK is hard and very intelligent, but makes some strange choices in life.
Her Facebook page is a typical storey line of someone living life to the full, eating drinking with no mention of Claudia at all. Much of her FB storyline has been removed, particularly Pre Claudia's disappearance and up until the last few Years. I wonder why?

Interesting as when the media or Jen talk about holidays abroad that the focus is on Claudia as the girl with the guys.
Surely JK is not celibate?

I watched the video of her with Claudia's purple ornament on her windowsill and thought that some of the body language wasn't right.
The turns away from the camera or interviewer at certain words or phrases.

It seems this case is very Gender specific

Males can have as many relationships as they like and women can't

Women aren't suspects and we don't need to pull them in.

Some reports suggest that Claudia was an escort. Anyway a married man wouldn't have an extra marital affair when everything is fine at home - there must be cracks in a relationship before he is tempted to stray

Riiiiiiiight. The poster on Facebook suggested that another mattress was removed from the Nags Head before the police showed up to find the mattress with a spot of blood on it

Thanks, that's better. So the incriminating mattress was gone before police got there-That's better

Many men stray for a bit of extra "nookie" Doesn't mean that there is anything wrong at home. Men can be a bit like dogs sometimes except that they get drawn into more.

Dai Malyn and others have hinted at this being a well-planned murder. Do you think there's a possibility her car was tampered with to keep it off the road?

I do recall reading that they were ...ahem..renovating one of the rooms in the Nag's Head when the police turned up.

Plus there has obviously been a lot of tolerance by wives of their men being in the pub until all hours, purely in the interests of researching local ales of course.

Yes and 'some' have a pack mentality too.

An open relationship is the exception to the rule
