Not if inadvertently the wrong fuel was used-easy "mistake" Would not do the engine any good, particularly if it was on its last legs anyway
I used to be a seasoned driver and cover over 40k miles a year and even so one day I Put petrol in my diesel car
Fortunately for me I had it rescued before I turned the engine on-expensive day that was

Thanks @Pinkizzy Yes I have seen this clip. It was suggested that they could have also been pulling into a drive opposite Claudia's house and so breaking as they approached. It could also have been someone who Claudia had lined up for a lift who stopped.
Police have been a bit tight with information on "what happens next" with CCTVs

Why do you think it brakes twice. There is a slow down surface on that part of Heworth Road?

I lived in Heworth while I was at university 2004-2008 before moving more central in 2009. Despite being the ‘local’ The Nags Head was a pub we would rarely go to. It was mostly really quiet with a few regulars. It would be more lively if there was an event like a quiz night though. As students in our 20’s we described it as more of an ‘Old Man’s’ pub. Claudia and her friends would have been popular. Unless it changed a bit in 2009..I haven’t been back since moving.

I was trying to put in boxes the different lives of Claudia.
1. The one that her Mum, Dad and Sister are aware of.
2. The Nags Head Claudia-Suzy, Jen and the Small old man builder types
3. The Secret Claudia-The one that takes herself off to a different area to meet people away from the prying eyes of the Nags.
4. The "At Work" Claudia

It was when I was putting things in boxes that I realised that we do not hear anything from the work side of her life.
Was she popular?
Did she have work friends that she socialised with? Apart from Snelling
Why did we never hear from her boss?
You always do in all other cases......
Like "Claudia was a lovely hard working girl" Etc. Etc....

Even if your a nightmare to work with they always say nice things about you when you die

Or reversing to do a 3 point turn and turn around. But surely NYP would see the car coming back on cctv? So either the driveway parking or slowing to collect CL before driving on.

If it reversed it would unlikely be of interest unless it lingered for sufficient time to pick up a "Parcel" a big one at that and so most likely it ended up on someone's driveway-A neighbour of Claudias?
