Would a hostile force who has abducted and/or killed Corrie wait over a month to capitalise on this for their own gain? If this was done by an ISIS sympathiser for example surely we would know from a propaganda video online or something. I'm leaning more to Corrie being attacked or involved in a hit and run and left for dead at the moment. It's a real mystery how he has vanished into thin air.
If Corrie was the victim of a hit and run, where's his body?
You're supposing that Daesh or another Islamic group would be the only ones interested in abducting a member of the UK military. For their purposes, however, they need to make some sort of propaganda statement/viedo/news release and that has not happened to date.
I've previously floated the idea that the Chinese and Russians have agents working in the UK, who might want to obtain details of UK defences and/or capabilities. I suggest that if either of them had abducted a serving UK military person they would leave no trace of the abduction itself, extract what information they could or wanted, and then disposed of the individual in such a way as there would be nothing to find.
As time goes on, I think it less likely that Islamaloons are involved, more likely that the Chinese or Russians are, but the prospect of some sort of accident or similar remains the most likely explanation.
