My feeling continues to be that he was in the bin and that the bin weight is just Biffa not wishing to expose their corporate tactics. I believe he managed to escape the lorry at its next stop at Barton Mills from where he walks, wounded for a while ultimately collapsing in the woodland around there. I don't buy in to the forensic testing of the vehicle or the sniffer dogs because he would need to be in contact with the vehicle and not just its contents.

Agree with you re an estimated weight. Re firensics it wasnt seized till days later...

Forensics has to be discounted because the paper will have already been disposed of, I do not believe he would have made contact with any part of the vehicle.

Sniffer dogs is is odd to me because despite the "scent" being found we have seen zero activity of searches or police information campaigns.

Possible sighting on Hollow Rd is as yet unexplained admittedly.

We're not allowed to quote from the facebook group and I don't know if I could find the post again but Nicola has explained why that sighting isn't being treated as credible. Personally I'm going to accept that a mother who is missing a child isn't going to give up a possible sighting if there as the slightest chance it could be real.

Every missing case has false sightings and it must be heartbreaking for the family.

I believe it's OK to quote immediate family, admins etc. from the FB group (just not screenshot):

I didn't ever catch Nicola's explanation for that but will have a look and see if I can find it anywhere.

The uncle of missing airman Corrie Mckeague, who recently spoke out about the police investigation, says he and Nicola Urquhart, Corrie's mum, have had a meeting with the investigating team.

Tony Wringe said: "We've had a good conversation about where we think we've got some issues and some general specific concerns.

"I think there was a recognition that there are some areas that there's an opportunity to improve the way that we're communicating and some of the things that are happening, so we take a positive from that.

"It's a positive development from where we were 24/48 hours ago because I think it's fair to say that Nicola was really starting to feel let down and concerned that the right things weren't happening."

Knowing the road as I do (dark and unlit) I would say 30 mins is about right. It depends on the number of bins collected and their location inside a complex.

Look, the bin pickup behind Greggs was at 4am and the lorry was in Barton Mills 30 minutes later, where the phone apparently carried on pinging until 8.30am without moving. That's fairly well understood.

The A1101 route from BSE to BM is just over 12 miles. It would not take 30 minutes to cover that distance in the early hours of the morning. You said earlier on that you were an industry insider so I'm asking you as an industry insider how long it takes to pick up and empty a bin.

You've previously said that you believe Corrie somehow made it out of the lorry and succumbed to his injuries nearby. See, I don't know how he could have made it out of the lorry unassisted.

Either it was a backloader, in which case the compacting ram operated after each bin was emptied into it, or it was a top loader as shown in the video linked to previously, in which case he would have had to climb up the inside of the large container on top.

Evening everyone, this is my first post. I would like to first say well done on your thoughtful posts. I have waited a couple of days to get permission to join, I wanted to try and lay to rest the going off for a rendezvous in the woods rumours. I know Corrie from our hometown and it's hard to explain, but he's a fantastic, fun person. It's a bit like David Walliams, you'd think he was gay but actually, he's had lots of beautiful girlfriends and is just not bothered that he wears pink or white jeans or what people think of him, Darroch was also wearing white jeans on the police interview. Corrie has a really deep voice and doesn't come across in any way as effeminate. He has been propositoned by male and female and he defintely loves the girls. He's also very kind, thoughtful and just an all round good guy. That aside, while girls love him, I think he can sometimes incite jealousy in other lads.

I wondered given the close proximity if Corrie was waiting for someone to come out of Karooze bar, if you look on Google Maps, it's only round the corner. Why would he walk that way quite deliberately as opposed to back towards Flex where his friends were?

Another thought, on the first day when the NPAS helicopters were up they were hovering above the estate next to the golf course according to locals. It occurred to me that given the prospect of a 9 mile yomp home or going to a pals house in the local area, I know what I would do. I had a male friend who would turn up on my doorstep and sleep on my sofa if he didn't have taxi money. Could it be possible Corrie went the opposite way towards the housing estate near the golf course? Girl pal with comfortable sofa?

I have wondered if he had funds in his bank account to afford a taxi on his own.

Having said all that, I just want this gorgeous boy to be found.

Ooh and I wanted to give my thoughts about him suggesting he was walking home, that's perhaps a Scottish dialect thing. If someone asked me when I had lost my friends how I was getting home, I might say "I guess I am walking home" or "I am on Shank's pony" which means on foot. It's a kind of jokey thing we say up here, not necessarily true, just banter. The problem with Scottish accents is we can sound quite deadpan and people take it as fact.

Bless you, PurpleWitch, for coming here and sharing what you know with us, and for being one of the people, who aside from family must be feeling Corrie's disappearance most deeply.

I was thinking it would make sense for Corrie to knock on the door of someone he knew, if the lights were still on, and ask if he could kip on the sofa for a few hours. If it was close to the last known location then that would help to explain the lack of sightings. That wouldn't explain the phone, so maybe the phone would have been lost. The problem with this scenario is that it doesn't explain why Corrie would then disappear from the friend's house.

My latest train of thought is that Corrie is a gentleman? So, what would he do if he came across a male and female arguing pretty violently? Would he intervene? Often those who intervene end up getting the brunt of the violence. Unlike other types of street violence there could be a motivation to move the attacked person if the attack took place close to the attacker's home turf...so then they might bundle him into a car and start driving away, which would account for the phone's movement. Obviously there's no evidence for this, but there's no evidence for anything, but it's a third-party scenario that doesn't involve gay sex or terrorism, and it's a situation that a young man could reasonably find himself in (reasons for males to disappear off the face of the Earth but not be found in a ditch or in water, if the male isn't into gangs/drugs/debts seem to be hard to find).

Thanks for joining us, PurpleWitch! I love your descriptions of Corrie, he sounds like a lovely fella.

The case is made all the more frustrating knowing there are literally thousands of people out there who care enough to want him found. Just seems everyone is going round and round in circles.
