Take another look at my map. I've put it together with the information that has been supplied and summized. The large red circle is a radius of the Barton Mills mast. It was stated that the phone last pinged inside this area before it died. The red lines are the possible routes taken by the phone into it from BSE.
Question:
1. Why would the mobile phone have been taken along this directional path(s)?
2. What conurbations are relevant to this case inside or near to the circle?

These question are relevant but obviously separate to where Corrie may be.

Just read the paper article that's on Corries page Nicola as given this interview and reading it I'm starting to feel more on a jealous local then a random attack. If you read were she has put he is a ladies man and goes on lots of dates I'm wondering if locals got a bit fed up with it all. We have a base in Beverley and the squaddies came over (been banned last I heard) they were sick of the trouble and the locals were getting sick to death of them. Just another idea folks .... Can someone explain why the hub can show the cctv but it cant be advertised to the group Tony did say due to regulations of is it DPA regulations can someone explain this please x

I wrote a long post detailing my latest theory and when I went to post it I had been logged out twice - so annoying!
I did up to a few days ago go with the AWOL theory,in the early days it was dismissed but I still stuck with it, I think if you think about something you make it fit..
Now I have taken the blinkers off and am more open to other theories.
Going back to what we do know the actual facts takes me back to the video footage.
There is no footage of him eating anything prior to him bending down.
To eat anything out of the boxes they would firstly have to be open and to me it looks like the box/ boxes are closed.
I don't think he could of bent down to pick anything up if one of the boxes/box was open so in my opinion that rules out a chip.
The more times I watch the video the more I see is a straw sticking out of his left hand, if you pause the footage where he passes the black door it shows it clearer.
He walks past the gents on the corner and drops the straw, picks it up pulls the wrapper off with his teeth as you do puts the straw into the cup and then holds it up drinking through the straw which is why his right arm is still in the raised position as he walks off.
That to me convinces me it wasn't a chip but 'something else' that he picks up therefore something 'smaller' as I said.
Correct me if I am wrong?

Thanks for this -- I'll look at CCTV1 again with new eyes now. But was this the whole of your new theory? I thought perhaps you had one about the overall situation...

I really don't understand your point here, if I take my laptop to a police station with facebook already logged in and hand it to a policeman he can then access my facebook and see all my info, post as me, join groups .......

This could easily have happened with one of Corrie's devices. How can you know that the police haven't done this? I don't see this as fishy at all

Firstly, has anyone actually said that the police took possession of Corrie's laptop/tablet - that's if he had either, of course,

Secondly, nobody accessed Corrie's living quarters for over two days, so even if he did have a laptop, there's no guarantee that he had it in sleep mode, or indeed with tabs open - and even if he had, would it still be in sleep mode after almost 3 days?

But for arguments sake let's say the police did find his laptop in sleep mode with tabs on (if he had one, of course) why would they regularly be checking his social media accounts when a) he's vanished and could have come to harm, so unable to post/log in or b) hope to find a message to him from the possible abductor/kidnapper/murderer - who would know he couldn't read the messages - and also know THEIR IP address could be discovered.

I suspect most activity is being undertaken by family. The family have said police are involved too. It should be noted that there are other agencies etc who could be involved and doing this. There's also Uncle T's mates who built the website who may be involved in the social media surveillance work.

Shouldnt the POLICE be the main investigators? It's strange they're so quiet....

The website they've made to FInd Corrie is extremely basic...

If you're being recorded for public safety the images of you can only be shown to the public under certain circumstances. To have your face plastered all over the country wouldn't be very nice. Showing the footage only to locals means only a small amount of people view your image.

Even if DPA wasn't an issue showing the images to locals makes much more sense than everyone in the country seeing them. It's a very large number of people to identify and chances are there will be hundreds of people all over the UK that are perfectly innocent but look very like people in the footage. There would be thousands of calls from all around the country which would overwhelm the investigation.

They may well release the footage to the public eventually but not before trying a more local approach first.

The most obvious place is the Mildenhall woods, these woods run alongside the layby where the man I won't name was found who was murdered after a gay encounter several years ago.. shown on the map as P.
And this is where the phone in my opinion is.
I don't think it ever went on a dustcart nor do I think a woman was involved.

OK, I think we're talking about different things, I have obvioulsy misunderstood, sorry

I thought people were doubting that the police could have checked Corrie's social media accounts to see if he'd been messaging anyone pre disappearance that might give any clues. I have missed the discussion about an ongoing checking of messages post disappearance

I have just been looking for it as I sure I read her post they have access to his account.
I did find a post dated Nov 5th where someone asked if his f/b messages can be checked and someone has replied 'this has been posted on here that its been done'
also on the same subject Uncle T has also posted on one of his updates 16th Oct. We are aware that there appears to be some activity on social media accounts in Corrie's name. Please feel free to continue reporting this to us when seen, but please don't immediately assume it must be Corrie accessing them

IF Tony KNOWS the police have access to Corrie's account why would he tell people to "feel free to continue reporting this to us"?

How does that fit with public broadcast of CCTV on crime programmes? In the Claudia Lawerence case the police put up a big screen to allow everyone to see CCTV images, I know it was several years after she went missing but there must be some circumstances in which it's allowed

I don't think it ever went on a dustcart nor do I think a woman was involved.

Going back to the most obvious conclusion this has to be a front runner. It eliminates "how did the phone end up separated from Corrie" it also eliminates the speculative theory that there's a woman hiding information. It would mean he got into a car willingly.

Current dating apps are used to get sex from virtually strangers. It stands to reason it is a good way to have strangers approach you and to automatically trust you, it also gives a pretty good reason to be driving somewhere secluded with no witnesses about.

My issue with this is that it suggests malice. Unless we could safely rule out this scenario ending in an accident that has been covered up (possible) it means there's a particularly dangerous person out there still with serious intent to harm others.

eta This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a gay dating app. Catfishing someone by being a woman online isn't out of the realms of possibilty.

Interesting that in the Scottish Sun today Nicola states that she believes Corrie is still alive

Tony did say that a "tip" led to them closing off the road a few days ago to search that area - must've been a tip they took seriously enough to coordinate the effort. Jmo

And whoever gave them the "tip" was wrong....

Did he say who actually gave them the "tip"? Maybe an anonymous poster? .....

Was anyone convicted of that murder? Are they still in prison?

Maybe because someone else could have access too or maybe Corrie has gone AWOL and might slip up and post something, it's sensible to be aware of anything changing. IMO

IIRC the original comments were in relation to social media that show a last time accessed or whether a person is online and Tony was saying it would probably be the police/family.
