And then in the other photos from their media round in 2012 ( all Oct- Dec) he has put quite a lot of weight on and is doing his happy face with the Xmas tree behind him and bleating on about all he ever wanted was his family together! ( Links on early pages of this thread)

And since Tortoise told us about his hair preening in the dock - it just makes it worse. Remember the paramedic bloke said he spritzed himself with aftershave before he got in the back of the ambulance. ( He is not going to find an easy ride in prison that's for sure. )

I finally located the press gallery - it is right next to the jury benches. The first time I went in it was empty, last time there were about 6 reporters there.

To the jury's right? Left when looking at it from the public gallery? I wondered what all of those empty seats were for. No press when I was there either

No, they were ALL wiped, but there was nothing to restore for a whole 3 months after March 2013. No texts sent/received. People I spoke to (I wasn't there in the morning) who were there in the morning said it wasn't clear if they had split up for those 3 months or if she had used a different phone.

Yes the last March texts sound very dire: "

On March 19, Gray said Butler couldn't "control" himself.He told her by text that she should "******ing rot u childless baron" after she "kept going on about dead babies".

The only other date I have for June is this:

GP Hazel De-Bono saw Ellie* & BB bruise in the centre of her forehead, a minor graze and bruising across the bridge of her nose. Mr Butler told her his daughter had tripped and fallen on the stairs at home, knocking her glasses into her face and June 25th JG phoned the school to say Ellie had tripped up a step and banged her head on the ground..

It is interesting that there does not seem to be any school absence issues Apr- til end June. ( Normally she seemed to be off about once or more per month. ) Puzzling. When I have time, I will go back & double check the reporting from the school days.

So as you were there, do you think the July texts were also from her phone. first one of these was July 16th "Butler described his partner as a "dog " and told her to "f*** off u ugly *****".


Ultimately, none of this matters of course - they have enough on DViolence & BB and the inferences re Ellie & his constant rage are pretty clear even if he doesn't text-state something definitive ie. he doesn't actually reference beating Ellie.

I'm only repeating second hand information, but it was 3 months missing texts, so there must have been more after the gap. Her phone was seized by police the night of Ellie's death.

RE: Text messages.
My fone automatically deletes old messages after a certain number. I think you can change the settings to either store to memory card or + - the amount auto delete does.
She is still using her fone.
So are the messages possibly from his?
As the fone will store both sent and replys.
Just a thought.

Mind you in the media photos of her sat on bench outside court of wherever looking like she's taking/making a call on her fone. She's not looking as slim as per 'compo' pic. ....

Lol no worries! I was confused reading your post then realised you must have misread or taken me the wrong way.

There really is no excuse for JG. Time and time again she allowed him to hurt Ellie in such horrendous ways. And to STILL be backing him... unreal.

I'm sorry but I just cannot get inside her brain to allow some BULLY. Cuz that's all his is. To let him hurt HER child who she carried first 9 months and brought into this world. And in the first 7 weeks of her precious life whilst leaving her in his company for a few hours while she went out with her friends. Ended up in hospital. Firstly unable to breathe he said he put his finger down her throat n heard a 'pop' then she gasped for air...... then..... then he had called for ambulance but it took too long he took her by car (friend or taxi not sure) to hospital instead. Where they found a brain bleed.... ohhh puhleeeez! Do come on!!

I think the Court will be brimming tomorrow. I will be amazed if it's not. Many of the MSM are basically just repeating each other so I'm guessing at time Court is adjourned for the day they just pool the one lot of notes. Cheapskates. More interested in who's wearing what bikini.... (sigh)

She left a 6 week old baby, who by her own account had some issues breathing noisy/going pale, overnight with a man she is no longer seeing. (Yes he is the Dad, but he also had no experience as a father. ) In my experience that is very relaxed and trusting to say the least. 6 weeks old!

NOW we find that she knew he had assault convictions and frequent rage /loss of control, as she was there at one of them.

As I said before, I'm guessing she actively wanted him to look after Ellie to get him bonded in the hope they could get back together same as speculating she was getting pregnant without his agreement .

I can imagine the nonsense he will come out with tomorrow - what about other posters?

I'd like to put in comparison. Her idea of 'their' relationship. And his idea of 'their' relationship.

As he stated in one of his texts. 'We r alrt as frns but nt relatsp'

Or similar. Did he just see her as "friend with benefits?"

She had her own place. Not bad looking worked, had money. Better than a quick fumble in a parking lot. Or behind a club. She was drunk. He was drunk. She took him back to hers. The deed was done.
She made him breakfast n coffee. He kicked back n thought to himself .. "cool"
All moo of course.

Becuz I think it all started from something as simple as that.
A drunken night out. Back to hers. Done the deed. Fell asleep. ......
Next morning she's all lovey Dovey. And it spiralled from there.
I think SHE (JG) read more into it than there was. She was wanting commitment and he just wanted a friend with benefits. Who he could call up. Go see have a few beers n get his needs met.
Sad but true. Lack of serious conversation. After a few months of this. She found out she was pregnant... she pushed her trump card.
The rest is how they say....history.
