Oh dear. These little glib jokes like that and the one about JG appearing like "J-Lo with 50 bags" in the other link! He's rehearsed this spiel.

Stupid move as for the jury this kind of levity jars with his big narrative theme- devastated man, impassioned victim, crucified by the system stuff who had his beloved daughter snatched away.

Cross exam Monday then?

Shame, would have liked him to get a dressing down before he left for Belmarsh for the weekend.
Of course he's rehearsed it. he's so vain he's probably stood in front of a mirror to make sure he visualises giving maximum impact...

Ohhh puhleeeez. Gimme a break. This guy is away with the fairies... or an alien abductee.

Roll on Monday. Should be fun. (:

con - man. Are you feeling it LB?

Absolutely.

I'm sure the jury will be able to see it too.

Ok. he's got my attention now. ( I nodded off for a while back.) Sneaky. As long as he doesn't try the "I argued by text with JG so that I wasn't face to face with her. I never used my fists, I used words. Our rows were all words, I wasn't in the same place as her......"

"Sorry guv'nor". He's modelled himself on some old lag from a Guy Ritchie crime film from Sarf London. ( No, I'm not serious but it's all so transparent. )

PS earlier on I posted " JG suffers from aggression " that was an error - meant to type depression but twas too late to edit. )

I think any poster who has attended today is going to need a large glass of wine tonight! ( Sat here on SMedia is very different to being there - he would really wind me up if I was at the trial today . I'd have to do a really big yawn from the public gallery in the middle of one of his monologues or bad jokes, then I'd get ejected ! ;) )

It is interesting that BB has used the words "slammed" and "muzzled". I am not an expert, but in statement analysts there is a concept called leaking, when guilty people accidentally let slip what has really happened through their choice of words.

I'm thinking of the grip-like bruises around Ellie's lower face, as well as the fatal head wound.

I had to sign off... I was in some pain so got a nice cold glass of Orange juice took some more pills as you do. least I'm not on the Morphine yet lol.

I found a bag of flying saucers sweets. So I've been a piggy n fed my inner child... lol

Okay I'm refreshed and development stressed. And good grief had I been there I would be off to the nearest pub for a ploughman's and a large cold one.

He..... would do my head in. Seriously. To the point I would really slap him with my slipper

Oooo wonder what it was lol

It was about how BB admits to swearing in front of his children, and Court Room News commented that they are not surprised because he's been effing and blinding all day

Oh my yeah Squish. Quite right. They tell the truths thru their own lies basically.

I mean. Slammed would normally used for a door...
And muzzled would be for a dog.... but we all know he calls JG A whole dog. I really think he is very childish in his expletives.

The way he puts in words almost to the put they make no sense. As he's spitting out a venomous barrage of insults... just look over his texts n messages to JG.
It actually shows his naivety.
Very Neanderthal.

Right, I'm back from court.

I think we have a Jekyll and Hyde character here. I wonder how that translates to a psychological profile. I noticed he doesn't seem to lack awareness of other people's emotions.

I've so much to say! Probably best if I split it up over several posts.

If I was presented with the evidence - the known injuries that Ellie suffered, the violence JG suffered, the texts messages he sent, his previous violent convictions - and then was given a selection of witnesses to guess which one was behind these acts, I would not match them to the person I saw giving evidence today. Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, even with the profanities.

He started off very nervous this morning. Squeezed JG's hand as he made his way from the dock to the witness box. Started off speaking quietly. But then he got into his stride as the day went on. The judge gave him a lot of leeway but even he lost it towards the end of the day and raised his voice to tell him to stop while he spoke to the barrister. He ended up slagging off JG to some degree and she didn't seem too happy about it. The exaggerated nodding she does quickly stopped and when he returned to the dock at the end of the day there was no high five waiting for him, and he didn't look at her.

Yes he admitted to swearing in front of the children but not at them. Said it is his general way of talking.

One of the neighbours had testified that she saw him speaking aggressively to his children. He said he'd never even met her before - tried to pass it off as a gag expecting to raise a laugh. No one in court laughed or smiled at any of his gags today, except JG. She was talking to him quite loudly at certain points. They really should tell her to shut up.

Didn't happen in the BB trial.

Several family members in the public gallery today for the first time - both families I believe.

By the end of the day they had taken him as far as January 2013.

He asked to take a seat. Was asked about whether the aggression he displayed to JG had spilled over into the way he behaved in front of the children. He never got around to answering that, even after talking for a full 10 minutes, when the judge finally stopped him, chastised him for not listening to the questions he was being asked, and adjourned until next Tuesday.

He went around the houses - how his mother and step-father had a bad relationship as he was growing up but his step-father had never hit him or his brother. He wanted to make a point of distinguishing between a bad relationship between the parents and a bad relationship between the parents and children. Again emphasized that he is not charged or on trial for having a bad relationship with JG.

Said he conducts all his arguments with JG by text, never verbally, so the children wouldn't know they were arguing.

I find that impossible to believe. There is no way that a person feeling that amount of hatred, anger and aggression, can pretend to the children that everyone is happy, or that the children won't sense it.

Argh just wrote a post then my kindle wouldnt type anymore so had to restart and of course lost it. Finally have peace to catch up, and a glass of wine in hand.

No real surprises from BB today then, typical manipulative woe is me crap. Saw the sketch that cottonweaver refered to earlier, the adoring look on JG's face... wtf?!

Love the argument by text crap he was jibbering about. Don't know bout anyone else, but if my husbands peed me off enough to warrant me swearing at him, I certainly wouldn't be able to bite my tongue and text him.
