I find this sad and confusing. If "a person" doesn't wish to be with "another person" then why wouldn't aforesaid person just leave or let the other person leave. When there are no small children involved, and financial affairs could be easily discussed and then sorted out, why would "a person" think that causing harm to someone is a way out.

I can't understand why anyone would think that hurting someone would be a more sensible option, or how they think they would get away with it long term.

They've updated with a few more details since I posted it earlier

Tonight a number of emergency services could be seen parked up on the sports club car park opposite Helen's home.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue teams were also present at the house and men in orange overalls could be seen entering Helen's gated home.
Firefighters could be seen carrying two circular saws into the property.
A number of firefighters could be seen entering the property as bouquets of flowers were pushed through the front gate of her home.
At around 8.30pm five firefighters wearing all their gear entered the property carrying two circular saws.
The noise of the saws could be heard coming from the back of Helen's garden, which has been blocked off by a metal shield.

That is strange. I might have understood it if it had been the other way around - with IS being incapacitated.

Also says it was a large amount of money that was taken.

Don't know if any of you have seen his FB page? Apart from the obviously now sickening post thanking people who took part in that awareness walk, there is a thread from 2013 where that picture of together with Boris is commented on. Helen posts link to 'villain' Woody Woodpecker. Someone else comments lightheartedly how she had never 'pictured him as a villain'. She may now be ruing that remark made in jest but now so true.

Jan 11? That's David Bowie with some other dog. Very sweet tribute, Bowie had just died.

Following an investigation by officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, a man has been charged with murdering 51 year old author Helen Bailey in Royston, on April 11, 2016.

Ian Stewart, who is 55 years old and from Baldock Road in Royston, was also last night (July 15) charged with two further offences - perverting the course of justice (reporting Helen Bailey as missing to police and hiding her body) and preventing lawful burial.

A post-mortem is due to take place on Monday, July 18 and specialist searches at her home continue.

Ian Stewart will appear before Hatfield Remand Court today (July 16).

Helen’s family have asked for privacy at this time.

Utterly shocking and still quite unbelievable. Poor, poor Helen and Boris. Just hope this vile, despicable, weak excuse for a human being spends the rest of his days in prison. Just why, why, why did he do it

Am glad that didnt stretch on all day - I was worrying it would go to the end of the detention time.

I do hope they find a COD to enable them to obtain the longest sentence possible - I sincerely hope he never sees the light of day - and even then, he at least will have a life, unlike poor Helen.

I know it's 'innocent until proven guilty' but really everything points to him ...

We don't even know if he was currently working - Helen could have been the sole bread winner

No I dont always take too much notice of * a neighbour said * - even though the one quoted last night did claim to have spent a lot of time with Helen. But my reason for thinking it will come down to money is based on other information gathered.
