Have we got the friend of Helen verified yet?
I only ask because I would rather the statement made about the circumstances of the first wife's death was not taken as fact just yet. I'm just wondering (respectfully) how a friend of
Helen could know that there were no signs of foul play or that it definitely was an epileptic fit...? They would be taking Helen's word for it, which would, I presume, have come from IS/

.
Anyway, it would be good to get verification and have that bit cleared up, just because I don't want that part of things to be dismissed when, to me, it hasn't yet been explained or made clear that there were definitely no suspicious circumstances.
I don't say any of this to be at odds with the request to be respectful of the two sons; I absolutely feel that they should be protected and nurtured at this time. But I don't feel this should happen at the expense of the truth.
JMO.
On a separate note; thank you to all who are updating with the court proceedings. I had thought it was planned to some extent, but not to the degree it obviously has been! My assumption was that he had known she was planning to leave him and didn't want to give up the lifestyle. But I thought planed as in like a day or two! Not the calculated planning that's being evidenced. Urgh. I wonder how long this has
actually been planned for.
At first, I found the idea of the secret engagement odd. Why propose when in the midst of planning to kill her and not tell people,
including the sons? Well, didn't we hear the idea that Helen had been telling friends she was thinking of leaving IS? What better way to reassure her to stay than to propose. I bet this

used the boys as an excuse to keep the engagement quiet, but in reality it wasn't a real engagement, just an opportunity to fulfil his plans. Disgusting.

~Agree with all the above LozDa. And the secrecy surrounding the engagement. Why would a couple who are apparently in love and planning to marry not want to tell the two other people who are sharing Helen's home with them ?
