I wouldn't say it was necessarily very odd. It is a large house and we don't know what Helen's habits were.
The pale blue shirt he wore to the afternoon surgery appointment seems to be a sticking point with the defence.
I wonder is this to tie in with the doctors visit, to show that IS definately was in the solicitors on April 11, wearing same shirt he wore to the doctors appointment at 3pm on that day
I'm supposing that he might have but, that we're just not being told that.Is this just me or is that not very odd..... assumed Helen was home but never asked IS if she was joining them for supper, or if she was ok ????
Now it's coming out. They attacked him, threatened him and made him take Helen's phone to Broadstairs.
Yet he was free to go to a bowling match and get Chinese takeaway.
It all adds up.
:drumroll:

Helen Bailey Murder Trial: Defendant's son testifies father had never previously mentioned two men, Joe & Nick, who had taken Ms Bailey away
I think this is the correct Bowls Club. A random Monday night fixture list shows a round commencing a 6.15pm and another at 8.15pm.Yes, am probably just working on how it would be for me. .... perhaps it was normal, if Helen was not downstairs, that JS knew she would be working and not want to be disturbed, or even having an early night
