Had a text from my husband, "Got the b**tard. One from my daughter-"Guilty". So many people have felt involved in this case, beyond the core of affected families and friends.
Beautiful words Dolly! Thank you. xx
My hubby texted saying "it was Nick and Joe!!". I think he may have the wrong end of the stick.
I haven't been able to find the words yet and still don't think I can. Others have already said everything I feel, especially DollyD, so eloquent as always.
I'm going to clean house, have a long shower, and process all my feelings of sadness and elation. Thank you to everyone for being with me on this journey. I know we all feel this deeply.
Thank you Tortoise for preserving this here. Such grace and truth from John Bailey (little Brother to Helen) in comparison to the evilness of the thief of her life and her darling Boris. When Helen's body was discovered last July, some three months after she had gone missing, we said we knew Helen would wish, like us, for justice to be done.
We wish to thank the Police and Crown Prosecution Service for their unswerving professionalism and support, and to those individuals who gave up their time to be members of the jury or to give evidence in court, as now the perpetrator of this crime has been brought to book.
We also wish to thank the many individuals for their support, some of whom have been grieving for their own personal loss - as their acts of kindness have been invaluable to us.
Our thoughts are very much with Ian's family.
Despite this victory for justice there can be no celebration. Our families have been devastated and nothing can ever bring Helen back to us, or truly right this wrong.
A long shadow of loss has been cast over the lives of so many who will always remember Helen with enduring love and affection.
At her memorial service, we asked attendees to write down what Helen's life had inspired them towards.
From over 160 affirmative responses, one person wrote: 'To help people when they needed a friend'.
With these words in mind, we now embark on rebuilding our lives and we respectfully request that we be allowed to do so in peace.
Thank you.

Clarity on the duvet at the skip:
It's not the boxes that the duvet is in. Here are the screenshots for the duvet. It's only a couple of frames long before the boxes, as presumably there wasn't much movement setting off the cameras here.

Then the boxes come after:

Apologies for the image sizes, but I've left them large for zooming purposes.

Stone Bay, Broadstairs , Kent.
Where Helen had asked for her ashes to be deposited.
I don't have much more to say at the moment. Just sad.
As per October 2016 on the other board - "what a waste."
Going to catch up with the rest of the news reports.
Thanks Loz, I missed that - makes more sense now...so I wonder what was in those boxes ?
I think they must have contained something. At our local refuse collection point we are asked to fold/cut down empty boxes to avoid wasted space in the containers.

I'd like to know what he did with her handbag, her purse and Boris's yellow 'go to' collar and lead. There's a cart load more stuff in the back of his car too. Maybe that was always there, he seems very slovenly.
I echo this. I often say too much, now I can't find the words.
Five minutes of absolute euphoria, seeing the Jury get it all so right and in a good length of time
followed by the tears and sadness.
We have all walked this journey together and have today seen justice done.
As Helen herself said, it will all be alright in the end...
But sadly, whilst we will all go back to our daily lives, Helen and Boris will never return to theirs - so it won't be alright for them, in the way that we would all wish it to be.
If there is any place other than this one, I do hope Helen and Boris are at peace and happily enjoying themselves, with JS and Rufus.
