Russell Flint: 'Could you have picked up a dead body and carried it over your shoulder? Or dragged one ... on a duvet?' Stewart: 'No, no.'

I'm surprised he didn't say ... No way Jose

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] oh that would have been great.

Horrible smell coming out of the drains"

Stewart: “The next time I saw Joe was in February/March on the second visit.

“Helen and I checked the cess pit levels just after Christmas.

“We then went down a bit later because there was a horrible smell coming out of the drains.

“We suspected it was blocked, so we looked in the garage.

“We opened up the cess pit and were looking down, the level was fine and there didn’t seem to be a blockage.

“We said we’d see if it clears.”

Of course he didn't, he used the wheelie bin and no lifting involved.

I think he means this Joe said it to infer 'I'm in the house GGHW' as if to sound threatening?

I took it to mean he was in there. Like he was being flirtatious in the sense he had a shot with Helen. He's creating the character like this guy is a bit of a lairy old lad.

Is he claiming that he actually addressed him as GGHW?! This is mad. And who is David Jensen's boss, executor of non existent wills and apparently known to no one until this moment?

Joe's friend called Nick'

Stewart: “While we were doing that Joe and another man came round the side of the house and approached us.

“Joe introduced him as a friend called Nick, that was it.

“Nick was about 56, he was slightly taller than me, he had black hair, he was a big man, he had tattoos down his neck.

“He was white. Nick introduced himself and shook hands with us.

“He had an accent.”

For some reason this paperwork was important to him"

“Helen had gone through all John’s stuff on some level in the past, so she told him she hadn’t seen it.

“She did to start to look for this lever arch file the week after.

“In the garage in the far wall was a row of boxes and other storage things.

“It was never dealt with why Joe would be interested in this. She said it was a bit strange after all this time.

“For some reason this paperwork was important to him, and he thought John Sinfield had it.

“This was some time in February 2016.”

The same Helen who STILL hadn't gone through JS suitcase from the holiday...... OKAYYYYY So she's now gone through ALL his stuff....

Nick closed the cess pit'

Stewart: “I was there with Helen with the cess pit open. Joe and Nick didn’t say why they were there, either we didn’t answer the door or they’d seen us from the road.

“Joe said he wanted another word with Helen if that was OK.

“Helen and I went down to put the lid to the cess pit back, but Nick took over and did it for us.

“Helen said to Joe ‘shall we go now?’ Joe said to Nick he would see him back at the car, Nick said he was going off to get some bags.

“Joe went into the house with Helen and I was left in the garage on my own.”

Joe had been very rude and aggressive to her"

“I went back into the house. I could hear her and Joe in Helen’s study. Helen at some time must have put Boris away.

“I did hear Joe leave. Their meeting was 5-10 mins long.

“Helen was upset and annoyed, Joe had been very rude and aggressive to her, saying she did know about the business and where was the paperwork?

“She was very upset. This was in February/March. Helen said she would have a word with her financial director, Tony Hurley, about this.

“Now I know she never did tell him about this.”

Nick, "about 56". So J&N turned up just as Helen and Ian gazed lovingly at the crust in their cess pit.

She did say Joe had been to see her again"

“Helen didn’t know the paperwork they were looking for. This is one of the things she didn’t get involved with.

“Helen didn’t believe Joe was involved in PSL, a company John was in. He might have been involved in MusicScope but she wasn’t sure.

“I didn’t see Joe again before I went into hospital.

“Helen visited me whilst I was in hospital and she did say Joe had been to see her again.

“We did say after the previous time we weren’t going to let him in.

“Helen’s comment about Joe was just a passing comment, it wasn’t the foremost thing in my mind or Helen’s mind.

WHILE they were checking the cess pit??? OMFG this is beyond nonsense. Utter utter mince. I can't believe he is using this as a defence. He's an idiot. They won't even be able to dramatise this in a tv show. It's far too stupid

but despite all that, IS still took Boris away for safekeeping ! and left Helen with this man

Oh this is priceless! He could never have made a living like Helen did, as a fiction writer! I am cracking open the wine now - it's compulsory. And I'm guessing his story won't get any more credible, even if I get steaming drunk!

“This was some time in February 2016.”

Again he forms his defence on factors that only two people could dispute - Helen and John Sinfield.
And he takes this route from reading Helen's book (or blog) about how JS often protected her from the ups and downs within the Company. And snooping through JS's diaries - he is beyond any decency and shows himself not to have loved Helen but only to have a love/hate relationship with himself.

A man called Joe"

Stewart: “A man called Joe knocked at the door in Royston and I answered it.

“He said ‘I’m an old friend of John Sinfield’s does Helen Bailey live here?’

“I said yes, Helen joined me at the door.

“He was 65 maybe a bit older, tall as me roughly, olive skin, sunken cheeks, short grey hair, dressed in possibly a suit.

“I’d say he wasn’t English, he had a foreign accent of some sort.”

Told you it was that Spanish waiter!

Gosh, IS isn't a very chivalrous or even basically considerate partner is he? I don't think my OH would let strange intimidating men in the house to have 1:1 meetings with me out of anyone's earshot.

I see Joe saw Helen on Sky news. Presumably the same interview that IS has a recording of on his YouTube account.
