An appeal has been launched after a Walton man was reported missing earlier this week.

35-year-old Jonathan Turk, from Walton, was last seen in Addlestone on Monday (October 25) around 9am.

Surrey Police have launched an information appeal in the search for Jonathan as they seek to recruit the public's help in finding him safely as soon as possible.

A statement released by the police with their appeal said that Jonathan's family "are extremely concerned for his welfare".

The appeal also featured a description of the Walton man in the hopes of aiding the public's assistance with the search.

"Jonathan is described as White, of slim build, around 5ft 10 tall, with blue/grey eyes. He was last seen wearing black trainers, dark coloured bottoms and a khaki and black coat. It is believed he may be in London," the appeal read.

"We are asking for the public’s help in finding Jonathan. If you have seen him or have any further information, please call 101 immediately, quoting reference number PR/45210113070," it added.

This case is fairly local to me. If he has travelled to London, it is likely he would have taken the train to Waterloo station as that is the London terminal served by South West Trains.

Very concerning that he has now been missing for a week. Fingers crossed his friends and family hear some good news soon.

Catdetective, all missing person appeals have been taken down with no update status. If you hear anything about what has happened to Jonathan being local can you please update thanks.

Probably indicates found safe and no further public attention wanted by he or family.

A post to one of the many missing persons sites says that Jonathan has been found deceased. The post was made on 03/11/2021, but understandably is lacking in detail. There doesn't seem to be anything "official" from Surrey Police.

This is what made me worry about Johnny.

Please if you see Johnny call the police. His family miss him very much. He is mentally unwell and vulnerable.
Unfortunately the poster has said that Johnny had been found in the river Thames. RIP Johnny.
