i want him to have many years inside an absolute hellscape before that happens.I actually do hope he is killed so all the families and little girls know they will never have to fear him being released.
He will never be rehabilitated and will do his utmost to create problems and try to manipulate and control anyone who comes into contact with him.
i thought that might be the case.being just a bit below 18 and involved in something like this should 100% be a wlo."There's even speculation

Better still, put him in the same cell as Maudsley!i want him to have many years inside an absolute hellscape before that happens.
wakefield will do it, put him next to maudsley
How many more ticking timebombs, like him, are there out there? He can't be the only one where there were ten opportunities or maybe more to stop him. JMO"The 10 missed chances

The 10 missed chances to stop Southport killer Axel Rudakubana
From the age of 13 the teenage killer, whose pre-meditated attack shocked the world, carried knives, was visited by the police on a number of occasions and attacked his own family.www.dailymail.co.uk
100 %Guards can't watch him 24/7 & I'm sure some will "make a mistake".
he will be of the highest priority. that means he may even get devoted guards unfortunately exactly like maudsley. if they make a mistake they get sacked and its made so they cant make a mistake. the prison system knows how that works and seek to prevent it as duty of care. hes definitely a target though and lets hope resources are too stretched one day and then a mistake happens.I had wrongly assumed him to be 18 when he committed his atrocities. 52 years minimum is as good as it can get within the law. I can't ever see him being rehabilitated & think he will remain a danger for as long as he lives. He's got a target on him, some whole lifer with nothing to lose or someone out to make a name for himself has him in their sights.
Axel Rudukabana's life will be hell for the rest of his days. Guards can't watch him 24/7 & I'm sure some will "make a mistake". I hope he doesn't take the easy way out by suicide.
Too many. I work in a job with deeply troubled children. We are failing thousands of children. Too many cracks to fall between. Too many services not wanting a child on their budget. Too many services overwhelmed. How many more ticking timebombs, like him, are there out there? He can't be the only one where there were ten opportunities or maybe more to stop him. JMO
i think thats the whole nhs and related services tbh its kinda normal for mh services though, the least funded sector of health services in the UK. I swear it was only properly integrated into the nhs in 2016? or was it new labour? i think mh is a particularly difficult thing to understand let alone deal with properly and yes your right currently too many cracks to fall through with no real coherent and guided or enforced pathways to follow. i thought reading the kyle clifford thing earlier should come under the mh act. its prior to any crime and you can still use powers within mh provisioning.Too many. That appeal by the MP is absolutely pathetic, to be quite honest. It's nothing more than selfish virtue signalling by someone trying to get his name in the media. It is totally meaningless in any legal, moral or practical sense.Good sentence, a little surprised to read on BBC that it's already being appealed by the local MP for being too lenient, given I've never heard of a 50+ year sentence in the UK before (anything over 40 is rare), and for someone so young, too; under the current system that's an incredibly long sentence, and completely deserved. I'm quite sure even IF the guilty party lives that long he won't be released, there's just no rehabilitating that level of evil. Throw away the key.
I very much doubt he had the presence of mind, let alone the intelligence, to realise that. Besides, I think that 21 is the threshold for a WLO.i thought that might be the case.being just a bit below 18 and involved in something like this should 100% be a wlo.
I totally agree. I think that the MP had decided to campaign for a longer sentence well before the judge had even begun his summing up .That appeal by the MP is absolutely pathetic, to be quite honest. The guy isn't getting out. It really is that simple. He can't even apply for parole until he's nearly 80 years old! As you say, a 52 year minimum is unheard of in this country and is entirely appropriate to the circumstances. In fact, I'd be concerned that it may be subject to appeal as being too harsh given his age at the time he did it.
God, I hate politicians!
