But have the police stated that? I tend to just listen to their statements because of all of the fabrication in MSM. JMO.

Edited to add - there was a case recently where a woman was murdered in NI and the murderer was initially cleared completely because he was live streaming at the time. But then three weeks later he was rearrested and charged with her murder because his live stream was actually recorded a few days before and set to stream on the night of the murder.

Im not saying this is true in this case at all, just saying it does happen. As said before I don’t suspect him. JMO.

Wasn’t it still connected to the Teams call? Maybe it wouldn’t ring out loud, or the phone was on silent? You might hear the vibrating if you were close enough, I suppose.

That's true , since she used Teams regularly it would make sense that it would be set up to silence incoming calls during live meetings , thus negating this possibility .

Yet , if other witnesses had arrived on the scene they might have been looking or standing by or near the bench ( after all PA's calls were after 10 , we still have a 9:33-10:50 window , it's a long time that is still somewhat foggy to me ...especially with regards as to who was near that bench , with the dog AFTER 9:33 )

In my opinion this firms up the theory that she fell as she was trying to put the harness back on the dog.

This also makes me feel this way. If the harness was half way down the embankment maybe Willow went towards the river.. without the lead on. NB was trying to hold the harness to stop Willow from going in. Willow might easily be able to slip out the harness (my dog does this). She’s then slipped.

Don't forget Police have her phone. Would know from messages/call logs etc if she had arranged to meet with someone or was in contact with a stranger.

Also calls from her husband/SO.

You can be damn sure they harvested his home CCTV and had he left that house while she was missing they would know and this would be a different case and the colour of his eyelashes does not change that fact.

That interview implies to me that he was getting worried something had happened at 10:20 because she was 20 minutes late and hadn't answered her phone a few times.

As I say, every family is different but at that point myself and the wife agree we wouldn't be going out looking unless there was a previously known cause for concern.

I didn't get the impression he was in a panic though. He had put on his gym gear as he thought he would run into her on the way.

I would venture that the phone was ringing , on the bench , from PA's calls before he was called by the school .
Is this correct ?
If so , was anybody near the bench at that point , able to hear it ringing ?
May have lost some very precious time there , if this line of thought is correct .

I'm aware of the function , but PA said no reply. Not diverted.

I am a bit confused by this. Has the lake at Rowanwater definitely been searched ? This link says it is 6 foot deep and has lodge type houses around it. It is quite a large body of water

It does seem fairly accessible from Garstang Road and maybe her dog ran there.

Isn't a hiding place less likely to be overlooked than the lake? Although i take yurpoint - ii did wonder if they'd looked in the lake.

Could Nicola have attracted a stalker? All of the pictures of her walks on and patterns of walking there by herself on a regular basis could have made her a target...

Just been discussing with the wife and we both agree that even if I couldn't get in touch with her after half an hour or so of being due home, it wouldn't result in me sticking my gear on to go out for a look around.

Each family is different of course, but this makes me think that there's some Comms being kept back by police (and rightly so).

Did she always get back home after dog walking by 11am? I agree it seems a bit early unless that was always a routine of hers rather than perhaps going shopping to a supermarket/Preston which is a good few miles away.

School was alerted at about 10.50am wasn't it so PA would've been around that same time. I assume given the timeline of her around the park PA was expecting her back around half 10?

We're all different but can't say someone being 20-30 minutes later would cause mass panic, more if you say a morning meeting and then person isn't heard of until the afternoon.

My heart goes out to him.

I too share that belief that hope keeps alive.. I'm always the last to let go of a missing person even when all the evidence is against it.
There is a high price to pay for it though.

I think he will cope with whatever comes to pass.
