I do understand why some nurses might be on LL's side. One of my friends, who retired as a critical care children's nurse, has said to me that she felt Letby was unfairly accused. She didn't follow the trial closely, only read the recent BS about the 'unsafe' convictions. I did fill her in and show her the valid reasons why she was convicted.
But my friends original feelings seemed to be based upon her fears that a nurse could be falsely blamed for any unusual unexpected deaths just for being their designated nurse. And I think that might be the motivation behind many of the sympathetic nurses.
