With the exception of Knapton and Aviv and a couple of other stragglers it’s all men simpering and procrastinating on her behalf.

He says (paraphrased) McDonald is going to have to give a satisfactory and reasonable explanation as to why Letby did not call experts in either of her trials, to have any chance of getting an appeal, via the CCRC.

I think the word Herculean rather optimistic but it is nearly Christmas so let’s give him that.

I do understand why some nurses might be on LL's side. One of my friends, who retired as a critical care children's nurse, has said to me that she felt Letby was unfairly accused. She didn't follow the trial closely, only read the recent BS about the 'unsafe' convictions. I did fill her in and show her the valid reasons why she was convicted.

But my friends original feelings seemed to be based upon her fears that a nurse could be falsely blamed for any unusual unexpected deaths just for being their designated nurse. And I think that might be the motivation behind many of the sympathetic nurses.

Because they know what it's like with hospitals covering serious incompetence and malpractice by blaming everything on one individual and the extreme measures they might take so that the ''evidence'' matches their narrative. Not just nurses, physician associates too (well, a friend of mine does) It is difficult to understand for anyone who does not work within the NHS but it is not for many of those who do.

Wouldn't read too much into that. Remember that "Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth" rabble. Yes, there were some architects and engineers who signed up to all sorts to bizarre theories involving "top-down missiles" and "thermite", although, it has to be said, the vast majority of that group were not genuine architects or engineers, of course.

When I first heard about her arrest I assumed this was a case of hospital administration throwing a nurse under the bus. Then I read the details and followed the trial. I think the jurors got it right.

I didn't know what to think tbh as it was all over the local news and she had been named in the MSM before charges which is unheard of whilst the police dug up her garden - nothing made sense from there on in and it hasn’t changed.
I’m going to make a guess we will have more charges in 2025, by the summer I think.
