The basis of the prosecution of all three adults living in the house was set out in the opening speech:

"[...] prosecutors say it is “inconceivable that one of the adults alone, or two of them, could have carried out what amounts to a campaign of abuse without the complicity, participation, assistance and encouragement of the others”.

[...]

“None of the defendants did anything to prevent what was happening to Sara, as they surely would have done if they had not been complicit in what was happening. The prosecution case is that they are all responsible for her death, and they are all guilty of her murder.”

The article states that Malik says he was unaware of the abuse and assaults of Sara. To me, that denial demonstrates he had the power and the personal responsibility to intervene and stop it if he was aware. The extremity of the abuse and Sara's condition and her constant pain must have been apparent to everybody in the household, and so too her disappearance from the living areas of the house. She would not have been able to walk to the bathroom even.

I certainly would have thought a judge can issue a court order requiring bienash give an impression. Or is it a process of elimination. I think urfan and Malik gave impressions as they knew they didn't bite Sara .
I would have thought an odontologist would be able to differentiate between an adult female or male bite. So therefore concrete evidence as Batool was the only adult female in the house JMO

Besides,
"Dear Uncle" fled.
And paid for all tickets.

Why did he leave the UK soooo suddenly?
Left his work, his studies - he had a valid student visa.

He could have called Police, or an ambulance,
and later
as a family man
could have tried to organize a funeral for his niece.

Why did he hide from Pakistani Police?
Why did he let to turn himself into fugitive?

Really,
One needs nerves of steel to follow this horrific case :(

I looked up the laws around consent for intimate samples i.e . Urine and dental impressions or pubic hair etc . I cannot see any where that a judge can over ride a defendants right to refuse but I did find this linked article stating how the prosecution uses that refusal and how a jury is instructed to handle it

I had forgotten dear uncle Malik [ sarcasm] was forced [sic] to use his savings to buy the tickets

Nerves of steel and the emotional detachment of a plank of wood

The problem is
dental impressions are not really reliable.

I would be afraid that it might turn into the reason for appeal
Aaaargh

But, of course, I can be wrong.

So,
tomorrow Jury is not sitting.
Hmmm...
Lawyers' discussions?

Strange that on Monday Court was sitting from 2 pm.
But maybe Judge or Barristers were elsewhere occupied.

Or some Jurors needed time to get something done.

The trial is supposed to last till 13 December.

I guess Jury deliberations will start after that date.

Sending "good vibes" to Jurors and the Prosecution Team.
I wish them strength to carry on.
Let's hope everything moves smoothly without any "surprises"
Fingers crossed!

tbh I don't know much about it, but I thought the adult male bite tends to have bigger teeth than the female but a smaller male bite might not be bigger than a larger female bite?

I also don't know if the law has to prove that no other adult female had access to Sara?? She wasn't at school, but what if another relative or friend had been in the house and bit her? I don't personally believe that any other person was there but doesn't the law have to be absolutely sure there wasn't?

They have good materials now
I think she will refuse, and that will be an interesting fact for the jury

The law does have to prove beyond reasonable doubt .
I had read that in law when a murder of a child happens in the home where prolonged torture existed it can be concluded that the adults living with the child had a role to play in the child's death .
I think this is how baby p's mother was charged

The defendants knew exactly what they were doing in planning their escape and made sure to do a clean up of evidence such as cars moved and ring doorbell removed . I wonder who moved the cars from the house after urfan rang police and before the police arrived . I imagine this person could possibly have removed the ring door bell at urfans request

I do wonder if relatives of bienash witnessed the abuse of Sara ,i know she was WhatsApp messaging say urfan was beating Sara but did they see Sara's injured
. I don't know if urfan had relatives in UK other than malik

Door bell?
Or door bell camera?

As far as the car is concerned
maybe the taxi company took its car as their employee left the country.

Re U's family in the UK.

Olga&her brother said the house was always full of U's cousins.

As for B
As her father disowned her
I doubt anybody from her family would have dared to visit her.

Prehaps she just kept in touch with sister through WhatsApp.
I had just recalled the neighbours testimony ,Stating Sara was sat between two aunts with a baby on her lap and wondering were they bienashs sisters

Does any one feel this court case is not really headline news . The DM and the red tops normally rehash the details of a case daily for clicks even if no new information available. I haven't noticed it being really prominent in the news . I'm aware of reporting restrictions etc but seem abnormally under reported considering it is the murder of a child . Maybe it is just me

I jump from one source to another.

First, Independent sent live reports and suddenly stopped.

Then,
I found some Herald but it also stopped.

DM sends updates in the evening.
Also BBC and Standard.

And another one,
a G. Dragon
sent info about phones' triangulations
which other sources completely neglected.

Oh well...
