It does seem very strange to me that the house was seemingly deep cleaned and tidied, Sara’s body was washed, the Ring door bell was removed before the family fled to Pakistan ….and yet the cricket bat, belt and pole, the nappies, makeshift hoods and other items were left in the bin/outside and not disposed of. Was one of the adults trying to leave evidence to incriminate the others?

It is very odd, I've been wondering the same. They weren't in bins on the pavement for collection so there was no chance the stuff would be carried off before the police came, was there?
Or was it that they just gave up at that point and thought they'd never come back anyway?

Re Faisal Malik, what about the McDonald's uniform being put in with the other stuff? Just coincidence?

Maybe he was in it and helped carry her into the garden and Sara's blood was on it or he discarded it before they left as it was no longer going to be of use which makes me think they never planned to return to the uk I suspect we will hear more on this uniform I can't imagine the barrister brought it up for nothing

Nor can I. In fact the lawyers have done a brilliant job of sequencing the information so that Urfan Sharif incriminates himself some more and then we hear there's evidence to prove him a liar (again). So I too hope there's more to come on Faisal Malik's uniform and role on that last day.

Perhaps Sarah's DNA on McDonalds uniform from either jetwash or being in contact with blood bundle? Bloody animals! And I doubt the males helped the whirlwind forensic clean Batool gave that home to minimise evidence. JMO

I find it creepy the way Urfan is calling the lawyers Sir and Ma'am. He's creeping up to them by using a respectful term, because it might benefit him, when we know he treated Sara despicably and with not one iota of respect because he had power over her.

How did they even think of bringing her into the garden to jetwash her body anyway god this is beyond any dark thoughts I could have imagined happened to poor Sara.

Or was she already in the out house and this is why weapons were in the garden ? Was she allowed in the house at all ?prehaps she was imprisoned in the shed and died in there . Was she hooded and bound in there . Did she even die upstairs.

I'm getting to the stage where the only thing I believe is forensic evidence and the questions put to the defendants. I don't believe any version that comes out of any of their mouths . Its all lies and fabrication.
Unfortunately with the selfishness of those on trial we will never know the true history of events . Only Sara's injuries will tell a story of abuse inflicted but not by who or when or where . Liars the lot of them . I hope they all rot in hell .

I think if they had of killed her from the first assault it would have been kinder

Far worse this goes way beyond the horrors of physical violence . This is a Fred and Rose West scenario a total and utter horror house . The cases that never leave public consciousness . The cases from which books are written and documentaries made . One we will all never forget and one where a 10 year old girl was subjected to the most severe and extreme abuses a depraved mind can think up .

The normal day in the courts at the Old Bailey is hearings 10-1 and 2-4 or 4.30. Sometimes they might start a bit earlier.

Thee are often delays in the mornings because so many of the defendants are brought from prison in vans, subject to various hold ups. Or a barrister or jury member may have some issue. Sometimes there are sessions where the jury are not present and the legal teams and the judge discuss trial procedural matters.

I don't know why they aren't starting until Noon on Monday. No other hearings are scheduled in that court room, nor is the Judge listed as conducting any other hearings (sometimes they have to take time out from one trial to hold the sentencing hearing from a previous trial)

Court listing shows a 10 am start on Monday. Perhaps Judge and Counsel need to cover some admin matters before Jury are required.

Her clothes / soiled leggings found outside were soaking wet. I wonder whether one of them, either before US got home or after, used the jet wash to try and revive her with cold water? Or check whether she was pretending. Or 'turned the hose on her' as yet more abuse?

It would be risky to wash her body with the jet wash outside - they could be overlooked by neighbours, and if they tried to do it in the small shed they too would get soaked. The bath indoors would surely be easier?
