Don't worry, "lessons will be learned", just like after all the previous cases where the authorities have missed chances to stop abuse.....![]()
What were the missed chances to prevent Sara Sharif’s death?
Trial revealed 15 occasions when authorities were made aware that the schoolgirl was potentially in dangerwww.theguardian.com
Whole life tariff or sentenced to a minimum of time to serve (i think the record is around 37 years).
This makes me so angry. It's unbelievable. No wonder Urfan thought he could get away with murdering his daugther when he got away with so much!![]()

The maximum sentence for the offence is life, but the actual sentence will depend on where the judge finds Malik to be on the scale of culpability. I think he'll find Malik to have High Culpability, because under that category is -Causing or allowing a child to suffer serious physical harm/ Causing or allowing a child to die

Sharif applies to Guildford family court for custody of Sara. Sara has accused Domin of abuse, it is alleged during the trial, and it is understood that Surrey county council supports her return to her father because that is Sara’s preference.
Very poignant words. Sara's other favourite song.Reading this makes my blood boil.
It sounds like the school pretty much did all that they could - they followed procedures and followed the correct channels.
The safeguarding team at the council and social services let Sara down - how could they allow for Sara to be home schooled twice?? On the back of the staff at the school spotting bruising?
RIP Sara
Just been listening to her favourite song as announced by her school
Beautiful.
