But wouldn’t the flight have to be pre booked? Can you just turn up at the airport and buy a ticket for the next flight? What about catching a train to Europe or fleeing the country by car.
Yes, it’s possible to book tickets by turning up at the airport (they might have been pricey) I do think fleeing by car or other means first could have been an option.

Sky News, and I quote, says <Three people who ‘left UK’> (left UK, in inverted commas) and the body of the news read <Three people who police believe left the UK> so, no proof yet? Flying would leave a trace, right? How about CCTV of them in airport, would that be proof? Maybe they did flee by car or train then…

I find it inconceivable that the bio Mum hadn’t been informed about the cause of death by LE? Surely she has a right to know.

So sad how she hasn’t had contact with her daughter for 2 years, so since she was 8.

Do we know who the mother of the older brother is? Sara's mum didn't mention losing custody of him did she?
I think it is the same mother as Sara. She mentioned children in the nee articles. From what was reported I am speculating it was a difference in religion and what religion the children should follow that caused the custody issues.

Wonder on what grounds the father gained sole custody, that’s quite unusual in the UK. But the Mum did reference religious reasons.

tbh I can’t imagine a 10 year old resisting an arranged marriage for example to the point where they are killed for being dishonourable. However she may have resisted the idea/ or male advances/SA to the point which angered someone who accidentally/ impulsively killed her?

In that photo, someone has styled her make up and hair to look older- someone female more than likely, for a specific purpose.

I still wonder why 3 would flee… why not just the father & brother, or just the male relative/ friend who was involved potentially.

Interesting that the Mum didn’t reference the brother at all in her story, maybe the media can’t mention him because he’s a POI. Moo.

Police have referenced they want to speak to 3 people, but the number of people who departed might be higher than this ?

Might it be customary to sell (betroth/dowry) daughters and she was marked as a child bride but was molested by another male, resulting in an "honor" killing.

If one of the fugitives (is that the right word, ahead of any charges) was female, perhaps she placed a call in secret. She's know the customs (the religious law is the law), but female to female, she may have had a tender spot for the victim. Maybe she herself is oppressed and it was a call to save herself, indirectly.

Or to hasten the burial.

In accordance with Muslim burial timeframe - 3 days.

I am not sure how common this practice is for Pakistanis living in the U.K.

considering Malik married a Polish ,Catholic woman ,I would think he would not have considered an arranged marriage for his 10 year old daughter.

Anna Bradshaw, an extradition law specialist at the London firm Peters and Peters, said any future legal proceedings involving foreign courts are likely to be protracted.
"That's an opportunity for the person to contest their extradition" she said.

"Some countries do not extradite their own nationals. Most countries will insist on the prima facie case to be met, and almost all countries will have some variation of a human rights test."

Sara's mother wants to bury her daughter in Poland,so presumably a Catholic burial.

Olga would like her child to be buried in her native Poland. A post-mortem examination is due to take place this afternoon.

I wonder what the manner of death was?

There must have been obvious signs of murder pre autopsy for them to declare it so.

It's really disturbing.
