Why the hell would he be interviewed with mg ? Or did dv mean on the same day
They met with DV together in a country pub in Sussex I believe and DV spoke to them both about that morning in Sturgis ....DV then met with MG again a second meeting

so I believe Nigel Hindle borrowed the white fiesta that morning and allegedly parked it in Whittingstall Rd therefore his prints would be in the fiesta and therefore he would be eliminated from the inquiry.

I guess they have had years to set the story straight if involved, i would like to know why snd how dv decided to talk to both at the same time , i have no words for that maybe on dv’s side maybe one triggered something from the other being there who knows

Why would he be eliminated fron the enquiry , for me i would be more inclined to suspect him , i mean you have a missing presumed dead sjl and the prints on the car are his al’s and sjl , no other known leads but at least to sets of prints to the vehicle

mmmm I wonder what NH movements were that afternoon? ...... and he was in a relationship with SF the secretary at Sturgis which is interesting as they wanted to go out to lunch together but Suzy needed to leave to meet someone so she invented the appointment - which meant that NH and SF could not go to lunch together on this day

So that is at least 2 staff members who could concoct a story but i eould nned to know their movements to see if it could be unpicked, but their movements would basically whatever they said as you do not need that many others in agreement and mg was a busy man that day so his focus was elsewhere, i think sjl was murdered at work , put in his workcar out the back (i guess his car was never checked) sf or he moved the car to sr and went back to work

This theory has been looked at in this thread - what potential motive could MG and the Sturgis staff have for murdering her ? why would they cover up the whole day .....

If that's the case .......you could turn this whole story on its head.......
** how do we know she actually went to work that morning at all?
** how do we know she was ever in the office that morning ? ....
** what if she chose to disappear ?
** ive just read about a British woman held captive and brainwashed for 30 years in a house in South London by a couple ......not Suzy ! But these things really happen......

...... we are only relying on Sturgis staff versions of that day ....no cctv no proof ... police were relying on what was told to them ...theres no body and no forensics ...she was declared dead in 1993 but is she?

If you strip this right back ...you only have the white fiesta ...found at 10.05pm

That is the only thing that is a guaranteed fact.

Can you not drive and park to the rear?
Im not sure there was a back area at Sturgis - not an area that you could drive into - maybe a back yard I'm not sure .....the staff all used to go " out the back" for a cigarette ......is definitely mentioned in some accounts.

Certainly not now. It's all built up, a glance at the map shows that.
"Out the back" for a smoke might mean a back room, this was long before indoor smoking bans.

totally agree like there is not a single shred of a murder but if sjl was truly selling on the side deals who would that upset , people with real money and connections.you basically have an unreliable and proven liar saying they saw her and a week later 2 unemployed men happen to walk by at the same time?? double question mark over them as they could possibly have been the 2 men in the fiesta, double parked next to another fiesta, but what to believe, i think the case was lost in the first hours of mg phoning it in @6:55

yes i assumed you could walk out to the parking area , if so maybe not overlooked and if parked up to the exit it is just a case of opening a boot, moving a car, placing a purse

There was no parking area. Why do you think the Sturgis cars were parked in side streets?

As Cherwell said probably this was referring to a back room in the office .....rather than an outside area....(which there was not) we've deduced.

It just shows how poor the investigation was.
Where did you get so many people from when only 2 are mentioned

One thing, there seems to be a lot of differing reports of where sjl car was parked do we have one definitive placing of it are all the work colleagues stories different?
The Police have always stated that the car was parked in Whittingstall Road but on an earlier thread in 2022 fellow Websleuther TimFisher1965 stated that the office junior who had last used her car had just told him that it was parked in Radipole Road.
