We do have a Mr Kipper lookalike .....he is a good likeness and as I said in my previous post - we don't know really what he was doing for the 6 hours until he reported her missing at 6.55pm do we ? / sure he was having lunch at 12.30 but can his movements be accounted for the whole afternoon ........he may have been out of the office doing "viewings" ?

It cannot be denied that he could have controlled the whole narrative that day ....he was the main sturgis witness giving statements to the police as ive said previously what if he was involved in creating the false appointment for suzy ? or could he have asked her to pop into crocodile tears and they would do the (false) viewing together ? who knows - anything is possible - would the police have suspected ...no because it could be so easily covered up

You'd need an entire office of psychopaths to keep quiet for 38 years for no personal benefit.

Why would they? If (He) was not back in the office till say 3.30pm and she went missing at 12.30 ...why would any of the office staff suspect him he could be just "late back from lunch or doing viewings" ? he would have had 3 hours to detain the victim at some other location - and deposit the fiesta in Stevenage Rd before getting back to the office - (probably not the solution to this case but its a theory and it would have been possible). could have been him with her in the white fiesta on FPR at 2.45pm as seen by BW. ... I appreciate this is a wild theory but the case is not yet solved is it?

I'm just watching an old Crimewatch featuring Sjl. MG is in it - he does indeed resemble Kipper, but so do many others!
Thanks for that, and yes he does indeed look similar

I guess he could have finished his meeting called sjl and said 37 shorrolds if his car was in the road where sjl turned right that would work and then have all day to get his story together and who knows sjl car could have been at 123 even earlier and a return trip to it was needed to place the purse

Yes, it would require a lot of people all in on it and to be dishonest, deceptive, never crack and never speak out in later life. Also to evade suspicion from LE, SJL's family and friends, local residents, and general busybodies. That's exceptionally unlikely IMO, however perhaps people can cite cases where such a thing has happened in plain sight?

Just re reading DV's book Finding Suzy - chapter 16 (P82) is really interesting it deals in details with the day she went missing - interview with MG & NH , Sturgis staff about what happened that morning in the agency on 28th July 1986 ...very interesting - worth a read / re-read

i doubt JC was mr kipper. JC was not very organised in his offending. who ever snatched SL that day pulled off the perfect crime. JC had only been free 3 days before SL went missing, so i doubt it was him.
I think JC had plenty of freedom while he was at the pre-release hostel. In those days, the security was abysmal in low category prisons, let alone hostels.

Jc had plenty of time to check the area out on pre release months before, what is truly staggering is that he was released and the crime was committed on the prison doorstep so to speak, with national press coverage and no prison staff gave it a thought.
