Please tell it said her name? Anyone know?
why do you want to know that - are you asking about the lawyer or the mother

I've never 'not' vetted or run a background check on any IC/Consultants I've used personally. Granted I'm working with large, top tier manufacturing companies who are very interested in the caliber of people in their companies who have access to sensitive information. FWIWOn another note, I was trying to figure out how he could work for such large companies without the ability to pass a background check. For instance, I know Dell does a thorough one because I had an offer from them.
I think I’ve figured it out - I think AA may have been a contractor. IC/consultants don’t usually have a background check - so he can probably get away with saying whatever he wants. It’s also not unheard of in the IT field for someone to be an indy. I haven’t heard of them for helpdesk support but I guess anything is possible in a smaller market. This also would have afforded him the flexibility to do whatever he wants with the rest of his free time (illegal ventures or just staring at his fish tank) since he would essentially be working in the gig economy.
Just something I’m kicking around. Did anyone else have any other thoughts? Or has anyone been able to sleuth his work situation a bit more?
It was an exclusive so I'm sure there will be a follow-up article and likely a video. Patience, my friend! Please tell it said her name? Anyone know?
That may be a good sign!
Hopefully it means they are making amazing progress and are no longer depending on the public for help.
I know they really needed the mattress but I guess they have that now.
I bet the FBI has uncovered an incriminating digital trail with all the computer data they have been viewing. Imo
I’m trying to trace him back and family names will help do that.
He was working for Dell when he was arrested. Tech support. In fact, no employer has said a word about him. Wonder what's up with that?

Can you post the news report? I can't seem to find it.I couldn’t make out the last name, but first name Janet. The video I saw wasn’t great quality but I’ll go watch it again and see if I can make out the last name.
Edit: the news report said her name is janet fashakin and she’s based out of New York
ITA, they are going to distance from afar IMOI don't think any employer who is associated with AA in any way is going to go public with information. Many reasons. All personnel related matters are protected from public view, for one thing.
But also, not a good look for their brand. They'll talk to the police and the police will pass what they know on to the prosecutor who either will or will not find it useful at trial.
I am really surprised at this.Update:
I did get a return email that said the tip line has been shut down and my email will be forwarded to the investigators.
A lot of Nigerian naming conventions actually put the last name first. Since he goes by AJ which seems to be short for ajayi, I’d guess Ayoola is his last name. I have a friend from Nigeria and his Facebook name and all his US paperwork/his driver’s license lists his last name as his first name.I’m trying to trace him back and family names will help do that.

That's the lawyer, right?I couldn’t make out the last name, but first name Janet. The video I saw wasn’t great quality but I’ll go watch it again and see if I can make out the last name.

Yes, the news report referred to Janet Fashakin from New York as the “family’s lawyer.” Sorry, I misunderstood you at first. I didn’t realize you were asking about the mother. That's the lawyer, right?
