I suspect they may have gotten a lot of information from the other children in the home. JMO
Just like in the case of Orrin & Orson West, JMO. When is the next court hearing?

If you mean the bond hearing, as of Feb 23 there was no date set. If one was announced after that I missed it. MOO

@HamptonVAPolice put up this new digital billboard with #CodiBigsby’s picture on it. You can see it on I-464 N coming into Norfolk from Chesapeake. They say it’s not the only one. The same graphic is running on billboards around the region

A point of interest in the billboard for Codi is that the photo of him that is being used is dated back to the summer. It's possible that this little guy has been missing for months before he was reported as a MP.

13News Now Investigates: How long have police officers, volunteers spent searching for 4-year-old Codi Bigsby? | 13newsnow.com
[...]

The Hampton Police Department doesn't track the hours spent on each particular case. But the amount of overtime they've recently logged helps fill in the gaps.

We found Hampton Police logged 5,415 hours of overtime in February.

Compare that to the 4,112 hours of overtime the police force averaged the prior three months (November-January) when the department was not consumed with the Bigsby case.

That's an extra 1,300 hours of overtime during the height of the Codi search that began the last day of January 2022.

[...]

The military veterans' nonprofit organization "W.A.T.E.R. Team Inc." has spent 38 days searching for Codi, with no plans of stopping anytime soon.

President Joe Slabinski told 13News Now they've logged 1,940 hours in searching for Codi alone, and another 106 hours in mapping out and planning where to look.

BBM that is a very sad and sobering thought. I get it, the family wants to support the dad. BUT come on, someone knows something!! Especially since it is appearing he's been missing longer then LE was told. JMO

LE has already considered the fact Codi has been missing for months. They asked in a poster if anyone had seen him in the past 3 months from the date he was reported missing. I believe it's because they have info that he was seen at some point before that 3 month point, but not after. I don't think we'll find out that he's been missing since the summer. JMO

I know some find it odd that there aren't a lot more photos of him than there are, but I don't. My parents weren't always taking pics of me growing up. And once I became an adult, and would visit for holidays, no pics were taken then either. Most families would at least take a Xmas photo, family gathering photo, etc., but we don't. And it's not like we're bad looking and hate cameras. lol We just aren't a highly photographed family.

ETA - IMO I don't find Cory coming across as a very caring father. I also think his child-rearing skills lack big time. That type of person isn't going to want to always be taking pics of the kids (he likely wished he didn't have to raise. MOO). What would he want them for? In my opinion, he wouldn't.

Also, back to the fact he never opened the door when neighbors popped by. I posted a while back that was likely because he didn't want people to see what it looked like (dirty? hoarder? It's definitely something). One neighbor never saw the kids outside and I can't imagine Cory wanting to take pics of the kids inside the house to show anyone looking at the photos what it looks in the background. MOO

Thanks to one of @PommyMommy 's earlier posts where I found the poster: https://twitter.com/HamptonVAPolice/status/1494354743300349954

Hampton police have expanded their timeline for which they’re seeking information about 4-year-old Codi Bigsby’s whereabouts.

Codi was reported missing by his father, Cory Bigsby, in the morning on Jan. 31. He said Codi went missing from their home in the Buckroe Point Apartment Townhomes in Hampton and was last seen around 2 a.m.

Hampton police previously asked for information from anyone who had seen Codi since Christmas.

However, police on Thursday sent out a tweet that asked for information from anyone who had seen Codi in the past three months, which goes back to mid-November.

The spokesman also said the expanded timeline will help investigators build a “comprehensive picture” for the case.

Perhaps I should clarify my point bc it's not whether or not folks in this forum take photos nor whether or not Codi's father took copious amounts of photos of his children but rather that the Police is using a photo that is dated back to the Summer of 2021. My apologies if that data point may have been misconstrued as meaning that Codi may have gone missing in the Summer of 2021.

Also, if they're choosing to select a photo from the Summer of 2021, why not use this cute one from June 2021 where Codi looks so adorable and not nearly as sad? That is a rhetorical question for I think I already know the answer.

Did LEO confirm the child's blue jacket located by the waterway in the field near Mr Bigsby's home on FEB 13 by Police K9s belongs to Codi where tire tracks were also seen on the ground?

I would think the other children have some information regarding when they last saw Codi to help LE in determining when he went missing. JMO of course.

I missed that as I've not traveled that way in quite some time. BUT it is a good spot for a billboard as many traveling to Norfolk - or Portsmouth via the tunnel - would see it.

I sure wish they could find this little guy :( so sad. Obviously Dad is not talking. Maddening. Moo

I don't want to see Codi's name drop to page 3 or 4 on the boards :(
