Well it’s the outcome I expected but was hoping for something different. Where she was alive. Knew it was him though. His story didn’t make sense.

I grew up in New Hampshire and was surprised to see this morning that I have mutual friends with Emily on FB. One of them is my younger cousin who apparently went to school with her and was her friend—they’re the same age. Crazy how close to home some of these cases are.

They seem like the kind of people I would know personally. The guy has a kind of scary energy about him that I also have. It makes people notice you so it's not that surprising he was spotted quickly by police. It sort of forces you to actively to be a good guy or a bad guy.

More details about their relationship in this article on WCAX Channel 3. They were supposedly celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Her family said they had seen scratches and bruises on her in the past, and the couple have a history of physical confrontation.

Just heartbreaking and disgusting as it can be. I have to feel thankful he (strangely) didn’t hide her body where it would never be found. It sounds like he will be kept from ever doing this to another person.

Sounds like this guy took hints from criminal complaints in several other recent cases. My stomach is turning.
