I've tried hard not to say too much but it's really hard NOT to when we all know someone has been arrested and it was directly due to a forensic evidence match. Not to mention, the brutality of what was done to this poor little girl, and the rage it brings out in everyone. I suspect it's pretty common for those who know the arrested (not just in this case but in general) to be in complete denial and shock because the person THEY know, could never in a million years do something so horrific. Tragically, Jenise saw the side of that person no one else knew was there.
I really do hope this person is charged as an adult, and named publicly. I've read that he's scheduled to appear in KC district court tomorrow at 3pm, so I'm assuming we might learn more then? Not really sure how that works but as of right now he's being held in the KC juvenile jail. His case isn't on the court docket for Monday
http://www.kitsapgov.com/sc/docket_page.htm but maybe that's because he's a juvenile. Either way, I'm sure there will be plenty of media (KING, KIRO, KOMO, FOX) in the courthouse building tomorrow afternoon to let us all know what happened in that courtroom.
